Everything in her wanted to say yes, but she would not settle for so little, not after all she’d been through. “What would be the point?” He took a breath. “I want you to stay. I want you to … I want you.” “You want me.” She turned the words over. Gently, she squeezed his hand. “And how will you have me, Kaz?” He looked at her then, eyes fierce, mouth set. It was the face he wore when he was fighting. “How will you have me?” she repeated. “Fully clothed, gloves on, your head turned away so our lips can never touch?” He released her hand, his shoulders bunching, his gaze angry and ashamed as he turned his face to the sea. Maybe it was because his back was to her that she could finally speak the words. “I will have you without armour, Kaz Brekker. Or I will not have you at all.” Speak, she begged silently. Give me a reason to stay. For all his selfishness and cruelty, Kaz was still the boy who had saved her. She wanted to believe he was worth saving, too."

hello! no, you are not seeing double-I did upload two kanej edits at the same time. yes I am unhinged. I was editing them to work song when blondie decided to drop the most kanej song in existence, so I had to edit them to that one too. and then in the end, I kind of ended up doing each video in the perspective of one of them

I've said this before, but I can only listen to songs if I resonate with or like the lyrics or associate them with a book or tv couple! And whenever a watch an edit like this, if the clips are not in relation with the lyrics being sung, it weirdly spoils my mood... yours is one of the only channels I've come across which does this so effortlessly! like around 0:53 when Taylor says "to need somebody", Kaz also says "I need you" which is such a small thing but adds so much meaning to the video... PS - I'M SO SORRY I MADE YOU READ AN ESSAY.

I’m always hoping people will notice these little details 👀 I usually try to match the lyrics with the scenes because it gives me so much joy when it fits perfectly!! I’m also always listening to music and relating every song to different characters lololol I have one big list on my phone with video ideas because of this (I hope that someday I’ll get around to doing all of them but I just keep adding more) also never apologize for writing long comments!!!!
