Balnur sometimes mixes up he/she like many native speakers of Turkish, I'm guessing the Kazakh language is also gender neutral (no 'he' or 'she', instead just 'o'). Amazing how many words are mutually intelligible despite geographical and historical distance. Maybe it sounds silly but I didn't even realize that Turkic people originated in Central Asia until I was in my 20s. My father mentioned it but I didn't really believe it because it seemed to me like he thought almost everyone was somehow Turkic in some way, but actually it's kind of true given how far and wide we are spread 😂
