Shrapnels is possible, but it must be exploded first to become shrapnels. If the missiles explode mid air, and it is a SAM air defense, what made it explode? Another aircraft? Missile don't simply 'touch' plane and explode without making that part of the plane heavily damaged too not just holes.

Video shown the problem of wing control which was taking the aircraft abruptly upward and downward swing, all the wheels were opened and seemed normal, we can say accident could've been averted by the presence of mind of the captain pilot by draining all the fuel beforehand crash landing and could've chosen soft surface rather going for hard runways, but accident did happen and it's really painful to all of us, no missile attack is seen during flight path.

This is very sad and if it was Russia, I strongly believe that it was accidental unlike in 1988 when the USS VIncennes shot down the Iranian passenger plane which I do firmly believe was deliberate. The only intentional downing of a passenger plane by Russia that I recall was during the days of the Soviet Union, when they downed a plane that flew over the Sakhalin island claiming it was involved in espionage.

The bullet hole grouping in the aircraft fuselage they showed in some videos is of a calibre of an infantry weapon, and no larger. Too, they are all reasonably clean shape , so are beyond simply suspicious, it is quite likely to occurred near the airport where the aircraft had taken off from for that flight! It was not a missile, and not a fragmentation missile! (If it were the culprit of this crash).
