In a sentence having the temporal tense phrase "for the future", is it really necessary to add "going forward"? Why has that silly phrase infected so much commentary. As if, when one says "future" that "going forward" somehow eliminates the possibility of a retrograde future? In the future, going backwards . . . uhg
