When we first heard that the benches were being updated but we could keep the styles if we have them place already.. I put a different variation in each village. I should've put them all side by side somewhere but it didn't come to me until afterwards 😢

I´ve been playing since day 1 and after the last update it feels like a completely new game. I remember when we all used to do the chest trick, grappler glitch, god mode, ice cave treasure chest glitch and so on. It was kinda fun to discover all the glitches with the community and exploit them lol. Good old days, it´s insane that it´s only been a year 😂 I also remember the TONS of bones we all used to have, left over pickaxes from the skellies, trees growing back through our builds, the literal sky bases we had to build to go from A to B and of course the absolute mess that was the village center, like not being able to kick out villagers, jobs not working correctly or even just the overview looking so basic lol.

I was just about to post this! Throwing in a near broken tool then breaking the chest for a brand new tool was the BEST bug..wish we would get a repair bench still!

You forgot the glitch where you could put weapons or tools into a chest, break the chest and the durability would be refreshed(Go back to 100%) basically giving you brand new weapons!

Not gonna lie I miss the not being able to use crafting benches in the rain, not being able to sleep through the night and Temperatures dealing damage, one thing I liked about Lego Fortnite was its emphasis on survival and finding ways to deal with certain challenges like surviving your first night(which I’m pretty sure was always rainy because of workbenches), temperature charms are pointless since you can just get almost infinite burgers or chill berry shakes from enemy drops to make any temperature do nothing but put a warning on your screen

I gave up on this game mode when Epic decided to make it impossible to play it with players in different server regions. The lag sets you two seconds back in time like every five seconds. Probably because shareholders asked for more investment return...

I play the game since it came out and I remember at the beginning skeletons bothered the villages every night. Every day started with a deep cleaning. Those were the days! 😀 I love that Lego Fortnite team pays attention of players' opinion and wishes, this makes the game really enjoyable. I prefer crafting benches needing upgraded. It makes more sense too. You make a bench, you can build stuff on it. Then you upgrade it which adds new tools to make more complex and better things. I think of it like getting new power tools for your bench that let you make better stuff.

My way of making a turning airship was 4 outwards facing crafting benches. I would break a dynamic plate so it wasn't connected and was a physics item, allowing me to place a large r sorta shape with a large thruster at the front. I put a switch on there, a large chest for storage and another switch on the main part with about 6 large thrusters and it had 4 large balloons.

looking back at this footage is so crazy and nostalgic with the old textures and stack sizes, I also remember using my grappler recklessly because of how many times I could repair it with a chest lol

I absolutely love the consistency of updates more then minecraft sinds minecraft alwais had their stacks on max 64 ever sinds it released and inventory slots also stayed the same but with lego fortnite ir went from 50 in 1 slot to 80 in 1 slot and also doubled the inventory space sinds epic's logic was "more items means players need more inventory space and people of couse are gonna get more and more items wich will be a pain if they wanna go change storage units"

There is still temperature. But hot and cold don't hurt you anymore. Instead they just make your stamina drain faster

10:20 i have a fun idea for the old crafting system to still exist Once you unlock a rarity you can then place down that crafting bench so for example if you get gems then you'll unlock the epic crafting bench wich then takes a couple gems and some gold bars

My favorite glitch that was sadly patched was the balloon trick. If you jumped right over an activated balloon, you would be sent flying into the air. I even made a skybase and that was the only way to acces it until it was patched, but at that point we had bus stations.

The old swords were insanely overpowered because you could harvest crops right away by just attacking it. Essentially infinite food with grain mill

Interesting, the sleeping through the night thing must have been a PC issue, I play on a PS4 and I've been able to do that for a while. Not when the game first started, but for at least a couple of months now.

Things you forgot about. Putting tools in chests and breaking the chests to get full durability or grappler refreshes. I prefer upgrading the workbenches. I think they nerfed the pickaxe method because it wasnt all too controller friendly and it forces people to use the physics toys and make vehicle which literally level up your experience in the game from epic to legendary. Being able to make a good flying or driving vehicle reliably maked the game so much better you should try for real for real not like kinda
