Woww. Amazing Kaziranga. Your cinematography and editing skills are mindblowing. Pls also show us the Elephant and Boat Safari (to spot Dolphins) at Kaziranga. Kaziranga is about to get 5 star resorts from Taj and Hyatt soon which will make it even more attractive for visitors. Love from Guwahati. Welcome to the "Rhino Land"💕💕💖💖❄️❄️

Great video! I remember reading from a rhinoceros expert that Indian rhino and white rhino (in Africa) are nearly same in size.
@WalkIntoTheWildСағат бұрын
Even the Internet is confused on this topic and I finally considered Wikipedia. Some say white and some one-horned.
@bladewarm1969Сағат бұрын
@ indeed there’s a lot of confusion around topics like this. Another such case is the size of Bengal and Siberian tigers. Scientific evidence suggests Bengal tigers in wild grow larger than siberian tigers but only handful of people are aware of this.
@WalkIntoTheWildСағат бұрын
@@bladewarm1969 Oh, I never heard this side of the story and answers believed Siberian to be the larger due to their winter coat.
@bladewarm1969Сағат бұрын
@@WalkIntoTheWild In 2005 a scientific publication (Slaght et al. 2005) revealed that average weight of male Siberian tigers in wild was 176 kg and heaviest one was 212 kg. They also found that most of the big weights of 300 kg and above from hunters were unreliable and maybe even falsified. Compared to Bengal tigers which were 221-235 kg on average and largest one was over 272 kg. This big tiger exceeded the weighing limit of the scale so he was actually more that 272. I’ve had opportunities to talk to tiger experts in India and gain information about their sizes. For eg. P243 of panna was 228 kg, Ustad of Ranthambore 259 kg and Star male of Ranthambore (T28) was 260 kg. Waghdoh, although bulky, was smaller than these tigers in terms of body measurements alone. Hopefully you will like this information. Sorry for the wall of text 😅
@WalkIntoTheWildСағат бұрын
That's an interesting insight. I think we need to write history again or fix such things. I'll surely try to highlight such points in my videos in future. Thanks for showing the other side of the coin.

First of all, the elephant safari in Kaziranga is the worst experience ever due to mismanagement, as there is no proper system in place, and it is filled with middlemen or brokers. I recently experienced it, and while the safari itself was good, it lasted only 40 minutes. Waking up around 4 a.m. and dealing with such hooliganism is not recommended at all. Last but not least, there are 104 tigers in Kaziranga.
