Its important to know that this Comp has a big EQ boost at 50Hz and 15kHz and a wide cut at 500Hz. It makes a super smile curve. So its good to get this warmth knob.

Yes, it's a big part of the sound, but the warmth knob is a nice addition 👍

I keep trying to use this thing after purchase but I'm having a hard time with it vs other color boxes. Been watching reviews to see if anyone else is getting better results with it.

Yeah, the MHB Green does have a lot of color, the warmth knob could be a good place to start tweaking if you feel it's affecting your sound too much.

I had the same issue. I run it on a vocal bus and let all my vox get about 2db gain reduction. The vocal bus preset works great for that for me.

It's a MIDRANGE KILLER . Is not my cup of tea ☠

Yeah I would not recommend it if midrange is what you're looking for. Or you can always try increasing the warmth knob, that gives you a little less smiley face :)

For saturation, I go to analogue hardware. Just sounds more convincing.

Gui is a mess, though. It could be way more user friendly without affecting too much resources of your system
