Dude, I've been maining Argus ever since he got released, but I heard on the media that he was one of the weakest heroes in the XP Lane and after playing him so much. I can kinda to see why, but playing him now, and WOW that 8 seconds is a game changer. I mean you can escape from franco's suppression, Guinevere's cc combo, and vexanna's cc combo. You can finally use him as an engage, I mean you could do that before, but it's good now because you have 8 seconds, and with his passive ignoring 40% of the enemy defense. You can pair it up with malific gun for an extra 30% penetration for a total of 70% penetration to the enemy defense, which is crazy because argus was supposed to have a passive that ignores 80% of the opponents defense, but it got removed. So, Sill happy.

60 seconds argus ult cd compared to old 30 second ult cd, 1v1 is worse now, u only activate ur passive once when u use 2nd skill compared to old 2nd skill that helps recharges ur passive, good for burst but for long fights its bad. the passive and 2nd skill changes are reducing his reliable dmg output, ur more reliant on items to deal dmg and surviving with ult,

Argus new "buff" is a real nerf. His early game dmg has never been weaker than before. Also, his physical atk growth is so low that having 80% on passive hurts him, and less healing off of his passive also hurts him early. His 2nd skill has been nerfed SO HARD that even at max level, it is weaker than level 1 before patch. Resulting in a weaker early game. He can't lane anymore, and any exp hero can starve him of lane exp easily in early game. I played with my squad and 13 minutes into the game "with 7 kills." I only had 4 items where I usually would have 5 or full build. They lie to you with "better early game laning." he sucks at clearing waves more so than he used to. His ult not healing off of minions or creeps is also a nerf.

So that’s why argus cant have hp in his ult when damaging creeps. Argus was like my favorite hero, but after hearing this update. I feel sad for argus, this ain’t a buff. It’s a nerf a solid nerf, first of all argus before was great in fights. It’s like the front of the team or a tank for the team. I also kept on using argus because of the ult when tower diving and pushing. This is a big nerf i just felt sad on it because argus is like a nonstop hero when he fights. Plus the ult had more cd, it feels like he’s not for late game anymore or for team plays because of it’s update. He’s just there but not for everyone in lanes. I usually use him for clutch plays. Now after playing him in this update. It’s like he’s an extra side hero rather than a main villain in games. But idk, i just love argus for being him.
