Dear Kazu, I am a Papua New Guinean 🇵🇬 and I have been following you since last year. I've always had a thing about learning other foreign languages but I was never serious about it until I discovered your videos last year. Seeing you interact with a fellow Papua New Guinean and learning Tok Pisin was something I never thought it could ever happen. You're the reason I'm learning Korean at the moment. Keep on striving and inspiring others like myself to learn beyond our boundaries. God bless you bro.

Hey wan tok. Yu stap olrait? I lived and PNG and learnt tok pisin as a child sadly it is coming up 30 years since I left. Tok pisin was the start of loving other languages for me. it literally rewired my brain I understand it in tok pisin because I was still so young when I learnt it. I really struggled to translate it and cannot think how to speak it but can read and understand others who talk it. I sung all the hymns and choruses that I remembered to my youngest as I rocked her to sleep every night when she was a baby and now she is the only one who is interested in languages like me. Japanese was my true first language love though. I studied it for 2 years at uni and wanted to move there but it didn't work out. Sadly I have forgotten way too much.

I really like Kazu, especially because he’s not a polyglot who claims to know every language super well if he only knows bits, he’s gotten very proficient with a couple languages. He always stays extremely humble, a true successor to Laoshu. Keep it up with everything you do Kazu! From a Kosovan living in England!

They're from the Island of Sao Tome, "half" of the nation of Sao Tome and Principe. And for an island nation of f'all Central West Africa, to even study foreign languages is pretty amazing, it's truly far removed from the rest of Africa, and getting resources there is hard, in the first place. More props to them, and Cantonese, that's amazing... Oh and Emmi the Polish girl living in Norway, is amazing. I find it difficult speaking half of the languages. And I speak half of the languages on her list, just even switching between Norwegian and my native Swedish is hard sometimes.
Kazu, tes vidéos sont un moment de bonheur. Le monde est triste. Tu apportes un peu de joie, d'entente entre les peuples Tu es une bulle d'air frais Merci à toi pour ce que tu fais.

It's really interesting meeting people from countries you don't really see many people from, like Turkmenistan and São Tomé. And even there, you blew them away with your Russian and Portuguese. Fun fact: A long time ago, I learned that Spanish and Italian are actually mutually intelligible. On a bus tour I was on, we had some Italian girls, and a girl from Mexico (which, of course, speaks Spanish) and I learned this fact from them :D

I was in Wieliczka salt mine in Poland this year during my summer vacation. Amazing place, great tours, huge underground church, statues... And I still have the salt I bought in Wieliczka in my salt shaker. I recommend these three places near each other: Krakow (a city train ride through Krakow and the Jewish town), Wieliczka salt mine, and Auschwitz (a sad place, but everyone should visit once in their lifetime).
