So yeah, the anime cut a lot of scenes.

It is true that they cut things, but I think for my part that this part is fine, it is not so aggressive given how calm the anime is (obviously there are the crazy people from the cult, the crazy people from the crimson village, etc. Of course, I was one of those who was angry about how Kazuma was treated in the novel...then because there are those stories where the protagonist gets fed up (obviously the good ones, not the ones that contain clichés like breathing)

Well, Mitsurugi can take down a giant dragon that even the entire Adventurer's Guild together would struggle with with a single attack so long as he has his sword. But all of his ability is dependent on his sword and thus he has never bothered to learn to adapt to situations. But it feels too early for Kazuma to take down Claire and Rain without a properly prepared plan. After all-- the appeal is meant to be that he is the underdog and managed to come up with a clever way to get through the situation with limited abilities.

There's no mages here it's just rain In LN there's equal of mages and soldiers and Chris is the one who handles mages and while kazuma handles close quarters combat 3. While fleeing to Iris location Claire said to rain to kill all of the enemy in the way using aoe magic including ally soldiers whos in the way saying aqua can just revive them then rain starts to chant the magic and before she finishes it Kazuma used snipe while jumping 360 in the air to destroy the orb in the wand of rain, after seeing that claire and rain amazed by it but after seeing her destroyed wand causing rain to cry a lot lmao (I love this scene) And last 3. Kazuma used combo spell Create Earth + Wind Breath to blind all the soldiers to get where iris location is And here's bonus Before the Castle Raid that fkn btch Claire said to Kazuma that he's so incompetent so she will try to recruit Kazuma party to join katsuragi That's one of the reasons why he accepts Chris invitation to infiltrate the castle

There is a chapter in the second light novel where Kazuma and Dust trade parties for one day. Dust assumes that being in a party with an archpriestess, an archwizard, and a crusader life would be a breeze, while Kazuma wants him to feel his pain. Dust's teammates are actually amazed by how clever Kazuma is and just how well he uses his abilities. It really shows that if Kazuma were in a competent party he'd be a terrific adventurer. Meanwhile Dust and co. fail spectacularly.

As someone who read this scene in the LN, I agree this is one of the best moments of the entire series. It felt like Kazuma's whole tolerance from the beginning of the series has finally been paid off in a shining moment (albeit under a mask disguise), and seeing that really hyped me up. Also, his act in the next volume (Volume 7) is also quite exciting and impressive too. Not sure whether the volume has been animated yet (I haven't checked out the latest anime season yet)

Kazuma used combo spell Create Earth + Wind Breath to blind all the soldiers to get where iris location is And here's bonus Before the Castle Raid that fkn btch Claire said to Kazuma that he's so incompetent so she will try to recruit Kazuma party to join katsuragi That's one of the reasons why he accepts Chris invitation to infiltrate the castle

The anime really did everyone a disservice by cutting out the team swap with Dust's party, that episode would have been way better than the damn succubus bar episode. Wouldn't be such a surprise to see that Kazuma is actually very capable when Aqua's 0 luck stat isn't screwing him over. But hey it's nice to finally see Kazuma win for a change.

I've never seen in Ln about it, it's only said that mask gave him some buffs, that's all. Can you give me a chapter where was straight said about it. According to the LN, Vanir doesn't injected his mind, it was his determination to save Iris and effect of the demon mask which destroyed his fear and gave him better feelings. It was his powers without holding back because of fear or something else, he destroyed them with his skills and agility with speed, he even frozen a water inside Mitsurugi's throat. He killed a one of the strong demons in the demon king castle and then killed a demon king 1 vs 1. And yes, it's Kazumas own powers, because he destroyed them with his own agility, speed and skills, this mask only gave him some buffs and he believed in his powers in that moment because of determination and good feelings. He doesn't need mask to do something like that, just not holding back because of fear and doubts.

Look at him getting done in by a bunch of Kobolds and you tell me he can fight without the mask? That's called BS and you know it. Without Aqua, the true powerhouse of the team, none of the demon king generals would have been defeated. Everyone kept calling her useless, but she's just low IQ and doesn't abuse her powers but she does have the power to beat almost any enemy, just gets easily intimidated as she's not a combat god. Also, how do you explain his manner of speaking similar to Vanir now? That is a piece of Vanir operating with Kazuma's memory and personality. That is not coincidence de aru.
