You obviously don’t know how underpowered Lei really is. You simply had shitty reads on him, and unfortunately for you, he had great reads. Lei has so many weaknesses that he was quite literally shitting them all over you. Almost all of his moves have no range, He only has one reliable move for side steppers and it’s not even an o.k move. Oh, and if you have a strong read on when he’s gonna attempt one of of his 50/50 mix ups from his stances. It makes no difference whether Lei has you on counter hit from anything, or even whether he’s going low or mid. You can stop it with any generic hop kick. If that doesn’t scream underpowered then I don’t know what does. As a Kazuya player, you may not have a proper hop kick, but I can assure you there’s a move kazuya can use to stop the 50/50 stance mix ups.

Tekken7 is my first Tekken, my first beat'em up at all and after 2 months I reached Genbu with AK. Combos are learned very quickly, even the difficult ones. In defense, it looks very different
