I love that every minute of Interdimensional TV is 100% ad-libbed by the actors. They basically got in the booth and just make up crap off the top of their heads then animated it. That's why it's so brilliantly random.

The Flu episode is where the series really took off for me. Just... putting yourself in Morty's shoes, it was absolutely bananas. Seeing the show willing to go that far made me very excited for what they'd do in the future.

@@johankaewberg8162 That's what hooked me, too. The whole improv style of the first inter-dimensional cable was incredibly refreshing. Hell, if I'm remembering correctly, a good chunk of S1 dialogue in general was improv. The stuttering from Rick and especially Morty comes across way more naturally, as if Justin is trying to fill in the blanks.

The new rule is that they had to have cleared their local zone (asteroid field), aka be the only object orbiting in the area. Since Pluto orbits inside the Kuiper Belt, it had to be removed for the list.

The flu episode is where Rick Morty demonstrated the incredible storytelling potential, look at Morty's perspective, his original family was left behind in an apocalyptic world, and they went to a reality where Ricky and Morty died, and then replaced them, in the end, he is stunned, only he in that world knows what happened, it is similar to when Neo discovers the matrix, and he observes all those people without having any idea that they live in a simulation, this episode is not just another crazy episode, it dictates how far the show is willing to go

ahhh i was looking forward to your reaction on the flu episode and if ppl understand the implications and the horror of it, morty left his orignal family to die and everyone like summer the mom and dad we were watching are gone now from the show and in a horrible world , the mom lost her son the dad lost his son summer lost morty like i wonder if this meaning is missed on the casual watchers , like even if he cares about his family in scenes later even saving their lives of in danger like HOW , to him he can just jump to another place they exist but being a copy is not the same as having the soul of your original family , even if all things are the same it would be like having a twin just like you to a tee and you never met them but if you passed away, your family replacing you as if nothing happened but they still lost their REAL son , just gained another son, it’s terrifying lol
