I relate to Katie at the very beginning on their genetics. Since my son has been born I have been so curious on his weight, height, seeing how his hair will turn, if it will be curly or straight, and his eyes are changing to what color. It is so exciting to see what genetics pass

I really LOVE this one, and your words and wishes are so true, thank you for reminding me to stay positive and enjoy just the little things, just a bit more❤ Thank you for taking the time to write this up, and although our children ate all grown up, and we have a grandson which will turn 6 in January, I really needed this sentences, to remind me of all the blessings I have. And look at the bright side of life ❤ Bless your heart 💞🤍

Parenting is tough. Especially for littles. Its hard not to worry. My daughter will be 1 next week. She was IUGR in pregnancy and that was scary. She had absent flow at 25 weeks and I was in the hospital preparing to potentially have a micro preemie. She made it to term and was born over 5lbs. Every little thing I took for granted with my oldest is a big deal for her. She needed a special diet to gain weight. She had under devolped hips that needed screened for potential dysplasia. At 6 months her weight stabilized but she was gross motor delayed. She has an eye droop that her doctor expected to improve by this age but hasnt. She has been in OT since 6 months, had a brain MRI, will need to see a pediatric eye doctor and a neurologist. She finally started to crawl last week. Just 2 weeks before age 1.

I hope she will hit all of her mile stones eventually. It’s probably going to take some time, but she’ll get there!! Happy Thanksgiving!!

As a mom with a preemie, who then had their preemie diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer and a super rare auto immune disorder that effects the brain at 13 months here is my biggest advice. Throw the "normal" (woe word normal even) out the window. Your child had a rough go from 25 weeks, so she's already going to be different than other babies, and that's okay!! She will have her path, she will meet milestones in her time and when she does, celebrate them! She's going to grow and be perfect in her own ways and anyone calling her different for that needs a throat punch. Just do what you're already doing, being the best mom you can be and everything else will fall into place!! ❤

I wish my spouse would have been as involved with our 4 children as Ben is with your family. It just wasn't a thing when our children were little and believe me, with 3 children in 3 1/2 years and an older child, it would have been so helpful as an exhausted stay at home mom. You two are an amazing team, keep it up, these days will be over before you know it.

Every time I see Clara, her little face instantly reminds me of Avie's 😊, even though she has brown hair. And I've always thought Ella and Avie look super alike, apart from their hair, so I think Clara will look a lot like them too, but with her unique hair. Unless she gets Ella's hair, then she'll be her twin ☺!

With “Those things” you mean vaccines? Lol because if you don’t trust them I recommend you to research how thanks to vaccines we live as long as we do and with great quality. This is a hard fact, as true as the earth is round.

My Intercessory Prayers continue in Jesus name, for you & your 'entire' family esp. for your sweet Clara now, that God's perfect healing outpouring over you ALL ~ God's will be done💌 TBH .. Doll, I would hold off on any further injections for your beautiful girl's, as many have been proven to cause real problems. God created us & He placed His perfect immune system in ALL of us, while He wonderfully formed us in our mother's womb.❤ We only need to keep it healthy & strong with God created herbs He placed on His Earth, for the service of His creation of man. Psalms 104:14❤

God also gave us a brain and doctors who can help us when we need help from regular medication or tests. Believe me, you just do t want an outbreak of polio, for instance. Every one has the best interests for their children, it's up to us as parents to make that kind of choices for them, when they are little. I agree we have an immune system, but bad bugs and bacteria etc will make us sick. So please respect their choices and I know they will respect yours too. (I know some times things are questionable, but I know you have the best interests for your children, if you have them, I don't know that of course, and I just know Katie and Ben always will put the children's safety first at all times, as good parents do. Even if I would disagree with what they do (which I'm not), it's kinda rude and disrespectful to say/,write it out loud. But again .... that's just my Dutch opinion. I wish you well and have a great day/evening 💓
