Jaja, I've bought a 2021 HONDA Civic coupe to my daughter last December 2023 and she started college this March 2024. SHE FREAKING LOVE IT!!! (And I'm not in college, but I have a 2018 Honda Fit and my wife haves a 2020 CR-V 🤓💪)

Just don't get used europeans and Nissans, then you'll be fine

I leased a 2020 Honda Civic EX-L hatchback for my daughter 4 years ago. I decided to take the purchase to own option last year when I got the payoff amount from Honda credit because she loves her Civic so much. The dealership I got it from even gave us an additional 3 year extended warranty for pennies on the dollar. It’s nice to see her graduate high school and now college with the same car as she ventures off into the next stage in her life.

The Mazda3 is a solid choice. Have a 2014 w/ the 2.5l, just about to hit 7 years of ownership, and it just hit 150k miles. The most reliable car I've owned. There hasn't been any degradation in fuel efficiency either.

Some are decent. My old girlfriend had 225k miles before she had major issues. She got rid of it after that. It was a manual too.

That’s what I thought. Then the transmission quit. Ugh.

You should consider public transport instead of weighing down someone with operation cost of a car and insurance

I have a 2020 Honda Civic. It has over 80,000 and I honestly have not really taken the best care of it, but the darn thing runs even better now than it did when it had a few thousand miles.

When I was in college I lived either on campus in the dorms or close by and I did not need a car. A car would have been a distraction.

All the Nissan bashers, I drove a Sentra in college it was a great car. I’d put it on my list.
@stellavidaurri35335 ай бұрын
It was probably an older model Sentra I would assume because the newer model Nissans are just not made the same. The older Nissans are bulletproof
@magnoliap58245 ай бұрын
@@stellavidaurri3533 ah yeah it was way older. Sentra is still fine IMO.

I'm a total Nissan girl Myself I'm partial to the Maximas even though they had their issues with transmission problems. But I'm a firm believer that if you service the tranny every 15, 000 miles by changing out the fluid than the transmissions will last
