Would love an episode on the best and affordable cooking gear like pots, pans, utensils, etc
@JCMacDonald8 жыл бұрын
the t-fal pans he has you can pick up at costco. for the price they are phenomenal pans with decently thick bottoms. i paid around 30 bucks USD for a set of 3. You can differentiate the models by the handles if youre having trouble. as for utensils a wooden spoon, spatula, and tongs are relatively cheap and really dependent on personal preference. nice entry level knives would be some henkels made in china - although if you know how to care for knives the ones with the 2 men stamped on the blade are superior as theyre made in germany to a much higher standard but cost SIGNIFICANTLY more. if you have knife skills you can avoid things like a garlic crusher, or an egg cutter even - those are made purely for time saving purposes. i havent researched much into pots, but like pans the thicker the base the more evenly it cooks and its less prone to warping. i know you said affordable, but im on a budget myself and love to cook and these are things i have picked up. just note like anything else this is based on research and opinion so you will get a million different answers on what is best - so the best thing to do is to cook as best as you can with what you have so you can learn where you think you need upgrades based on where you are in your skill in cooking. again just my 2 cents
