I’ve always had a soft spot for Everton, possibly because I saw them as a similar club to my own but mainly because, every time they came to villa park, their fans were always brilliant!! In fact, they were probably one of the only sets of fans the pubs and clubs allowed to mix . Obviously I never went to all of them but the ones I went to, I really enjoyed and never saw an ounce of trouble, almost like both sets of fans had that mutual respect for one another . It really makes my piss boil what’s happening to them, it’s so undeserving for the fans, I think the FA should do EVERYTHING in their power to solve the situation. Founder members should have some sort of protection and should never allow shit like this to happen

@@hongkongphooey-kw4nd You’ll get back there boss. I can remember the day we lost to Fulham in the play off final… mate !! We were fucked all ends up, our ex owner destroyed us and hopes were dashed. Exactly a year on and we were promoted, 5 years on from that and we’re embarking on the champions league, I swear sometimes I have to give my head a wobble. Anyway I don’t say this to gloat, I’m just pointing out how quick shit can change. Let’s hope it’s soon rather then later

I couldn't agree more. The clubs have always been at a similar stature to me too. I remember always being excited for the games of the Moyes O'Neil erea. Those games were brilliant. Bithe teams just went for it and we're full goals and very enjoyable to watch. Bothe teams were on the push for Europe those days and it felt like each team knew if they got the better of the other, they would finish above them. I've really enjoyed watching Villa under Emery and will be watching your champions league run. I've always watched you guys in Europe and I guess I must have a soft spot lol. Good luck this season.

@@marc6174 that was my favourite era too, if your familiar with villa park, there used to be boozer behind the north stand which was exclusively villa. I’ll never forget the one year we walked in and you lot were up on the tables in the courtyard with the villa fans . I can’t name another club where that’s even possible without something kicking off . Little fun fact and something else we probably have in common. I was in the greenman (Wembley) and we’d drank the place dry, Mal was walking around the pub laughing and joking with the fans, was asked if we were the only fans that held such an amazing achievement 😜 “nope everton fans did” 08 ? 09? lol we have to take the W’s wherever we can brother !! Oi, listen, and you lot !! All the best, I sincerely hope this shit is sorted out for you ASAP . Quick question, is it right that you have another season at goodison park?

Nice video Quinny, subscribed today 😊 however Keane and Holgate should never wear a blue shirt for us again. Keane can move on and Holgate is a poor piece of work. Both need to go in particular Holgate. Gives the ball away (deliberately?) and is a cert to give a penalty in the last minute. UTFT

Enjoyed you're video just one thing,I think garner is a better player than a lot of people realise and is very important to the way Sean sets up his team to play although I have a feeling Sean will be a bit more attacking and progressive this season,

You have to get away from thinking about starting 11's. And instead think about squad. Everton won't be playing the same system and starting 11 every game. We are more likely to play different depending on who and where we are playing. So for example, doucoure might start games against tougher oponents because of his physical presence and linguist may start at home, or away against weaker opposition.

Decent vid mate. It my understanding that Lindstrom is a loan with a buy option. Thus would free up other cash. We are also looking to keep Dele who is more of a 10 than Doucoure. I would back up the Doucoure moving back a bit as more of an 8. He's done it many times for Everton, and I think he's great at box to box. James Garner is actually similar to Onana in many ways apart from physique. The problem last season was, when they played together, they both wanted to take up the same positions, they were on eachothers toes, leaving spaces for the opposition. Garner has also played right back for Everton and right mid. Although to some bot as good as Onana, he can cover a range of positions. I don't think we will sell Branthwaite unless someone comes in with a massive fee. Everton are happy to sell for the right price but as their replacement targets move elsewhere, the likes of Jacob Greaves. They will hold on to him, as they would need more money to pay out for replacements or have to replace them with a lesser target (not ideal) I personally think Branthwaite will stay now and more likely to move on DCL, Maupay, Holgate and Keane. Everton will thicken the squad with the cash from these sales.

Brilliant video, as an Everton fan you are mostly spot on, I would say Doucoure's better games towards the end of last season he played in a deeper role and with us signing Ndiaye and possibly Lindstrom makes me think he'll be used deeper. I do think the likes of Keane, Holgate and Maupay will be moved on alongside DCL (contract issue)
