Listen guys. This is not how we operate in this fandom. We have to support each and every member. Each member trained hard for many, many years, and YG let them debut for a reason. Because they are talented. Otherwise, YG wouldn't even touch them or consider them. Another reason YG needed them to be talented was that this is only a 4 member group so they can't hide behind each other if they make a mistake or if they do something wrong. Just letting you know, Jennie didn't train for 6 years only to get downgraded by fans who think they're professional singers and say her voice is 'mediocre' when it's not. It's actually really hard to have a powerful voice with so much power behind it and sing low and high notes. But Jennie can pull it off. Which expert assessed her? Take my word for it’s two cents, her timbre is unique but it’s not for me. Of course there’s lots of fans that like her timbre and that’s okay, you can’t please everybody. She’s not hurting herself and most of their songs don’t go that high in the scale. One of the reasons you want to have good technique is to tackle other genres such as country, rock, power ballads, etc. If she wants to stick to pop music then her singing style is fine.

I don't think so, around 4 years ago her voice is kinda low and husky. And now she had a different voice and her pronunciation of the lyrics and words are far different.
