I used this product on a gas tank in my 1968 Chev Van and swirled it around inside until it there was no more moving around in the tank. It has worked very well. The kit comes with a chemical wash that cleans the tank first. Then you pour in the coating and turn the tank over and over in every direction until theres no more liquid moving around and let it dry. You need to tape over the hole in the top for the fuel pump and thats it.

so they just painted straight over the rust blast let it dry or have i missed something

i have a new tank for my m37 army truck 53 dodge is there any thing to coat a new tank before you install it about 25 gal size to avoid rust you never know whats in gas you buy today

After the RustBlast has been we on the surface for a minimum of 30 minutes, you will rinse the RustBlast with water, all the surface to bone dry and then apply RustSeal.

Can i use kbs clear coat on a freshly galvanized trailer. Be used in salt water
