The theme for this battle is 'Teenage' and I am amazed that Hoony chose 'outcast' and 'bullying' as the subject because this is really common in every teenagers' lives. The chair symbolizes how being an outcast in the society. Here's my own interpretation: 0:38 He feels alone as society chokes him, making him feel suffocated. 0:46 Loneliness is like a magnet, it always consumes us and sticks us back to it no matter how hard we try to shake it away from us. 0:58 Only 6 people are dancing, leaving the one at the side, hiding behind the chair. This shows how insecurities can prevent us from shining. 1:12 He tried to showcase his talent however he is bringing the chair, showing how he is still not confident of himself to stand alone. 1:21 He tried to mix with others however 'the chair' is pulling him back and went behind them again hiding. 1:45 She stood out from the rest however she still feels lonely and suffocated from society (this can also depict an idol / celebrities' life) 2:25 He tried to join the others again but since he is different from them, they bullied him and tried to hurt him 2:34 He fought back not by hurting others but by being himself and this is when he finally shined on his own with others respecting him. 3:08 The most powerful ending pose. She wanted to jump to end her hardships but people areholdingher back amd telling her not to give up. I swear I cried when I streamed this and I tear up always whenever I watch this performance. This dance is so powerful. Plus, the music really fits well. The line "your body's a poetry", they really used dancing to convey a very powerful message. These dancers did so great and also Hoony's choreographies are always emotional and inspiring.

dude, i watch all of the performance tonight, and hoon team was the best i think, the story and the team work is perfect. Hoon concept was so great, the only performance that match the theme "teenage", the struggle, the not giving up mind things, also match the song lyric, love how he think "move your body" deeply. as an IC, actually i was afraid that his team performance shaded by others, with coaches that really good in dancing reputation, so i was so nervous, but this performance is so beyond expectation, also highest score for tonight was awesome. oh donggyo face, the chair, each of them show their desperate faces then dance like crazy is soooo greaattt

I'm not an Inner circle but I've watched Seunghoon since Kpop star. I saw what YG saw in him so I never doubted his position in this show as a mentor. Yes, he may not be the best dancer technically but he is not competing here as a dancer but as a mentor and choreographer. If you see him in KPOP star and WIN you will know that his strength doesn't lie on dancing, it's just an added bonus. His strength is his creativity and innovation. That's why YG took him. You can learn how to dance or rap and even sing a Melody but you can never learn creativity. It's either you are born with it or you don't.

Hoony may not have gotten the song he wanted but he got the song he needed. This song really worked for them. It had fast and slow parts which showcased different types of dance and helped with the storytelling. I want to see more of hoony's team😁 I just watched the other 2 and i'm still waiting for the others but this blew me away. add: I just watched the full episode with english sub. And i'm even more blown away. Seunghoon's own experience with dance and audition programs helped him help his team to appeal to the audience. More than just dancing, they were telling a relevant story. It's not called a performing art for no reason. They gave a clear picture through the dance and their expressions. And seunghoon being extra caring and attentive to them really melts my heart. How can you not love him?

baby hoony - not much dancer in KPop or Korea generally can made me feels enjoy the song at the same time to enjoy the dance itself. You know this day Korean entertainment (esp in dancing category) brings a lot of dance into their song but at the end mostly that I can remember only the dances not the song! Basically many young people in Korea did a good job in dance but almost like they down to deep in the beats not the song. For me who is not understand about dancing (technically or philosophy), dancing with the beat is "easy" bc the beats itself representing our heartbeat for entire our life. Dancing with melody doesn't mean harder or better. It's just the dancer needs to put the emotion and another things into the dance to make it complete and deliver into the audiences. Sometimes technique and theory are only to make us keep learning but that emotion also the other things will make us feels more alive and deliver it on honesty. The audiences got something from the performance not only fun feelings that we can forget at the next morning, next day, next week, or maybe totally can't remember at the next year.

At first i was concerned with how seunghoon chose his team because they were all different and they weren't necessarily the most outstanding plus he will compete with really good choreographers. But i should have just put my faith in him the way he did their final dance in win. It was song meeting dance telling a story. It was mesmerizing to watch. And it made me rethink that his choice was the best. He is a performance genius. It made me think that he really is a yg man. He knows how to spot potential and hone it to be the best it can be and that diversity and unity can work hand in hand. i didn't have time to watch the show. I just saw a video of this performance yesterday, and it was just a half, not a full performance. I was so amazed by it that i decided to stay up all night to watch 1st and 2nd episode, and today when ep 3 with engsub is out i watched it right away. It's 2.30a.m now but i'm here watching this over and over again. To be honesh, this team wasn't got the best technique but there's something in this performance really got into my heart. I don't know about dance at all but this performance is so beautiful. While the other teams going tough amd swag with high level of choreography this team just want to say something thru their dance. The story about being an outcast, the hopeless feeling and stuck like you can't get out from certain situation, feeling stressed out wondering what to do, depressed and those feeling lead you to do 'that' thing. All of them perfectly portrayed that situation.

They didn't had alot of strong dance moves like the other groups but what really makes them shine is that they dance in unison, as a group its very important to be in unison with the members. Even if they Aren't the best dancers in the season, they may not be the well known dancer of the season but they marked themselves by proving that dancing can be an art too.... Seung Hoon is such an amazing choreographer! He can express emotions and feelings with his body in such an extraordinary way, and what's more, he's amazing at helping others bring out those emotions within themselves! He used all of their preferred style of dance, and somehow blended it into a masterpiece! Hoony really is a born Choreographer and I can't wait to see what his team does next! I also think he chose the best method of teaching he let them be themselves, and run everything, but he was there, providing comfort, and making sure that they weren't experiencing any hardships (Giving them transportation, free access to the training room and gym, and getting the members that live far away a place to stay) all of that builds trust and Loyalty. I think Hoony's team will be forever close because of this.

I think Soohyun represented the 'outcast' as he was alone for most of the choreography. And when he ran towards the group, there was a wall. Then at the end after being attacked by the rest of the group he successfully fought back and shined in the center. For the others, I think they represented how 'suffocating' society is as they kept grabbing at their necks with a sad expression despite being being a part of the larger group.

I LOVE LOVE this choreography because it showcased all of the dancers styles! I just saw Just Jerk’s choreography and it looked like it was a totally Just Jerk style but this this was a mix of all the dancers different styles which made the shine so much! AWESOMEEE

LyonCross I agree. All the dancers shine equally & choreography was a mix of all of their styles but at the same time it was 100% Seunghoon. If you watched Seunghoon's other works you would know that all have the same feel.

This performance really leave a big impact for me.. I never got touch by a dance performance.. When this show aired I tear up when I watch this and now watching it again.. It still brought tears in my eyes.. Even when I randomly hear this song, I remember this performance and suddenly my eyes will watering again..

This is genius choreography. He took the theme and turned it into something that all teenagers go through. I love how they utilized each style and all the members got a chance to shine. Also I’m proud Dabin got to express herself through this dance and shed light to some of her struggles it must’ve been really hard. This just shows how strong she is and made the dance even more meaningful (if thats even possible). I was definitely not expecting this but I’m so glad that Hoony is on the show and others can see his creativity and passion.

A few weeks ago, a thought struck me, I hoped Seunghoon as a dancer and choreographer doesn't get suppressed like Seungri. Don't get me wrong, I still lose my sh*t when Seungri dance, but even he himself and all of BIGBANG have admitted that he lost it. Then this show happened and I am so happy for Seunghoon. Now so many other people will see for themselves just how amazing he is. FIGHTING HOONY!!!
