People just love to hate, unfortunately kpop fandoms are the most toxic. That aside people always knew Twice had very good vocals, just because they were very layback during encores in award shows and lip sync because dancing and singing at the same time is obviously hard and people don't know that, it doesn't mean they were never this good. Although I will say I always love hearing Chaeyoungs live vocals it amazes me more and more every single time I get to hear it, one of the most underrated vocals in Kpop.

The best vocal growth honestly goes to Twice. Even tzuyu who used to be so passive is now so confident in singing. Twice always could sing, all of them have really good head voice. Most of their earlier songs were just so mechanically high pitched (heart shaker especially). Their energy and chemistry is still strong after 10 years

Chaeyoung hit all of those high notes so well. And I was surprised at how powerful Jeongyeon's voice is here! They each did an amazing job. I'm not someone who really repeat watches live performances very much, but I think I'll play this one many times.

They made their success, grew Popularity and a very wide fanbase and have sold millions of albums throughout their time as a group. They worked hard and they still are but now they are just enjoying their time singing and even continuing to make music. They are very consistent so I'm grateful jype didn't just forget they existed.
