I don't know how anyone could like this movie! 😢 Communication, comfort, solutions! None of this was present. Pure futility in life, no hope, no compassion! I was left grieving horribly! 😢Mentally I had to make my own ending. That's why he sold his car to do something for the girl --- in the form of gifting the apartment for a long time, till she might settle down on her own. Finally, in the last scene, they want to show that even though he's no more --- the girl is keeping the house even after 2 years ( she seems in no hurry to leave ). With teary eyes, yet a smile on her face --- she looks up to watch the brightest star in the sky --- representing the fondness in her heart for the person she lost, despite the grief overflowing via her eyes. 💕✍️🧞‍♀️👩🏼‍⚕️🕊️🇮🇳

The lead actress is Jung So-Min (playing Lee Ha-jin). She recently starred in the tv series Love Next Door (2024), the movie Love Reset (2023), and also the tv series Alchemy of Souls (2022). The title page here erroneously names her 'Jeong' So-Min. In any event, IMDb has no listing for this movie, not by this name nor any other. Also, in any event (lol), I love her piercing eyes. IMDb spells her surname Jung for general purposes but within the url for her page, they have it as Jeung (which is at least close to Jeong). It's unfortunate this movie isn't in their database, but apparently as part of the KBS Drama Series it's a made-for-tv flick, never released. And as is typical of low budget productions, it's sparse on both actors AND acting. Still, kudos to whoever made it available and subbed it in English.

I only watched this coz I saw Somin. I've been spoilt by series, now movies just feel rushed, I feel like there isn't enough time to get invested in the characters and the relationships feel rushed. The ending was sad, but I think I would have felt worse if it was a 16 episode serie.
