I've been a long time fan of Yoon Eun-hye from Princess Hours and I've missed seeing her in dramas and variety shows. Her clips on this show had made me realize how artistic and creative she is plus a great cook to boot. Just one comment though, please don't add oil to your pasta water. You DON'T need it. Wait til your water is properly boiling, then add salt (salt boosts the pasta's flavor), then add your pasta and stir from time to time. That's it. I learned this when I briefly lived in Italy.

I think people put in oil because when you drain it it prevents the pasta sticking to each other. That’s what I’m assuming.

@@karinax1288 Not really. Pasta won't stick together unless you leave it standing for a long period of time. Most of the time people add the sauce right after cooking like she did. If you did leave pasta long enough to stick, then not even the oil in the water will help. I used to cook pasta with oil until I knew better. It's also a waste of olive oil. And at least for me, olive oil is pretty pricey.

hi, putting olive oil when boil is okay too in case it will not stick together. there a lots of way to cook it. yours is right and YEH way is right too

@@andytjhin7670 It basically a coconut jam. It's made from a base of coconut milk, eggs and sugar. Its not only available in my country, Malaysia but also in other Southeast Asia, like Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

Gnocchi is an Italian dish made using potatoes. I'll give her credit for incorporating persimmons to create new taste. But this also made me wonder why other celebrities doesn't know what gnocchi is, and why is one of them surprised she added olive oil into boiling water to cook gnocchi. Sometimes I'm unsure if Korean celebrities are really so clueless about other cuisines beside Korean dish, or they just make remarks for "entertaining" purposes? Some how I think it made them ignorant and close-minded though.

That applies to normal pasta, oil prevents the pasta from boiling over. But gnocchi has potato, which has starch as well, and oil is needed in the water when boiling them so it coats each piece and keeps them from lumping up.
