I think the director doesn't get enough credit...he directed two of my favorite periodic dramas...Mr.Queen and Hwarang, He captures the comedy, costume and chemistry of the actors even in supporting roles. I am planning on watching The King's Face as well directed by him..

I loved the series and watched it 2 x, the men cast was great BUT the main-actress A ro was the ugliest and most boring character ever. Crying one river after another . She annoyed me a lot. Without her it would be a pleasure to watch, but not with her. It was a challenge to watch her and I wished they had casted another girl/ woman. So sad they didn't. So only one person can ruin the whole movie.

Here in Europe, lots of fans of Park Hyung Sik but they're well discipline and not too much noisy everywhere, especially here in KZbin. I cannot even explain how much I loved this show. I only decided to watch for Kim Tae Tae but then I saw Park Seo Joon and I fell so badly in love with him. This man is so gorgeous I cannot help but admire him. All of them were so so good apart from being absolutely good looking. Also My Tae Tae was so so so so good as Han sung. I absolutely adored his role and I couldnt stop crying when he died. Tae already had my heart and Park Seo Joon does too ♥️

I had intentionally watched this simply to support my Tae Tae but fell in love with Hyung Sik and Seo Jun at the same time. Hwarang is seriously such an amazing drama and the chemistry between each actor is astounding, cute and refreshing. Might just binge watch it a second time. It helps alot with letting loose in times of stress which is why I watched it during my exam period (don't question why I did this instead of actually studying lol) From the costuming to the storyline to the ad libs and tearful moments, I enjoyed this drama. Excellent job everyone. Fighting!!!
