I don't know why there are so many people hating/disliking Yeongcheol. Maybe his drastic actions are dislikable but his efforts should not be overlooked. I've seen on various shows and even his appearances on shows long ago and his effort really pulled through. His "Real Men" and "Infinity Challenge" appearances were very well-liked and showed a more humane side to him, especially "Real Men" and I think that's how he actually is. If you see his instagram he's an amazing guy and he's just trying so hard to make himself known. And yeah he's a comedian, most comedians try their best to make people laugh and end up coming off as "trying too hard". But at least they're trying.

They understand male and female platonic relationships. I mean most of the hosts on a show are friends. But because of the more traditional/conservative/structured culture there are interactions that are seen as too much. Growing up in the south US I saw it a lot. I asked if a female friend could come over when no one else was home, and my mom's first response was "What would the neighbors think of (my friend)". So I kind of get it.

Watching this in 2020, it actually makes me so sad that the only talk that Amber and Henry had was about their relationship! And they were literally just friends. The MCs weren't very accepting of the diversity just because they were from a different country. All the others got to talk about their achievements but only Henry and Amber were repeatedly asked about their relationship. I don't know how people were not disturbed by this just five years ago!
