Sayangnya kontrak eksklusif mereka diputus sepihak oleh pihak agensi dan labels mereka, seharusnya kontrak mereka habis november2021 tapi pihak agensi&label memutus kontrak itu di Mei 2021, Gfriend seharusnya comeback di Juni 2021&member sudah spoiler juga mengenai cb selanjutnya, mereka bilang sedang bekerja keras untuk renewal kontrak, bahkan bbrp jam sblm pengumuman pemutusan kontrak umji melakukan vlive dan menjanjikan akan memperdengarkan mago versi buatan Umji, umji juga bilang akan mencoba TTD baru untuk comeback selanjutnya, tapi tbtb jam 10 pagi tgl 18 Mei 2021 ada berita pemutusan kontrak tsb, lucunya berita tsb itu diunggah oleh artikel media terlebih baru daripada pihak agensi. walaupun mereka skrg menempuh karir di sektor yg berbeda tapi mereka tetap member Gfriend sampai kapanpun. Viviz (trio yg berisi umji sinb eunha) masih bilang leader mereka sowon, selain itu ke 5 member gfriend masing2 mengirimkan coffe truck sbg dukungan untuk syuting Drama member Sowon dan Yerin. Drama Yerin akan tayang akhir 2021 dan THN 2022 sedangkan drama sowon tayang THN 2022. Yuju sedang mempersiapkan debut sebagai soloist, tolong dukung ke 6 member yaa 😍✨👍🏻
