I think Seungjae is so smart because his dad always asks for his input "Do you think it's fun?" "Why do you think that?". Asking question like this fosters reflection, decision making and independence. You can really tell by how Seungjae interacts with Sian too, he's always asking for input from Sian, just like how his dad does for him. They're both such cuties. I love how Sian is so calm lol, I bet he's been through other worse false scares because of his dad.

As i been watching a few episodes of TROS i’ve noticed that Sian is taught that crying is not for men and to be strong and straightforward (i think his dad wants to teach him that because he is the only male among his sisters) and Seungjae will grow up more sensitive but caring and warm-hearted

If you watch all the episode you will notice Sian cries easily cause he's the baby of the family. He's also very sensitive and kind hearted thats why his dad wants him to be a bit stronger. But he never scolds him too much for crying and he always comforts sian when he's crying or when he's done. Donggook is a very good dad

Rather than Donggook teaching sian that crying is not for men, in general he teaches his children not to cry and its just that sian tends to cry the most. I don't think he'll have issues in that regard though cuz while he discourages crying, he always acknowledges their feelings and helps them find ways to instead deal with what they feel upset about to help then grow stronger. I think a good example is when Jaeah cried cuz she lost to her dad in tennis a few years back.
