I was so surprised by this performance! She never lets me down, and this time was no different. She sang in a way she has never done before, and I could not help but watch her whole performance with my jaw on the floor. She could have chosen her normal style, and gone the safer way, yet she chose to challenge herself. Such an outstanding performance, with vibrant vocals. Simply amazing. 손승연 화이팅!

This is a great example of what a great talent SSY is. She can literally sing every style, genre, whatever you throw at her, she’ll do it, and do it better than most everyone. Her experimentation during these early years, have contributed to create the great artist she is today. And she’s not finished; she’s still pushing the envelope, continuously expanding the colors in her palette. It’s truly a God given talent.

i love how she sang this song its like shes some prisoner in a dark castle..... like some very sad tale? like a trapped ghost, or someone coming back to life decades after dying and wondering where everyone and everything went away? or not even realizing she's dead? she goes from sounding lost and confused to angry and sad in despair? i get mad chills when she sings "is there anyone there who wants to greet the morning sun with me?" i'm so in love with this performance it feels like she told a 1000 pages story in one song!!

I think her highest note is D6. But yeah she has so much freedom in her range. It's INSANE! And that Bb5 was incredible. She's definitely one of the best vocalists in Korea, same for Ailee, Sohyang and Hyorin.

This is so good but I can't help cringe because she's trying to sound like Han Young-ae with the raspiness.... and I know Seungyeon doesn't sing like that and I like the original song. Just my opinion.
