I miss being in the kitchen with my dad & maternal grandma 💔😭 my dad passed away in 2017 & my grandma passed away in 2022 My dad was the main cook in my family, when I turned 11, I remember usually learning the basics of cooking from him. He told me he went to cooking school in Washington state or Oregon. I always loved watching him cook or bake in the kitchen. Everyone always loved his cooking. Same with my grandma. She always made the best pies & homemade bread. I don’t think my grandma cooked very often, she was the baker. My grandpa mainly cooks, & he (still) loves cooking for me, my mom & my younger sister. I’m not brave enough to try to make what they used to but hopefully one day I can, & it will taste just as good 🥹❤️‍🩹
