“They didn’t joke about it but they didn’t make it too serious either” that’s so powerful because I realised that a lot of the exposure about Autism I got was either on the two ends. But this show really humanised people with Autism by just showing their day to day life.

This is the correct way to show about Autism... The correct way to encourage people to accept them and learn about them. Yoonah and Min show in such a positive way the ups and downs of an autistic child in such a mundane and normal way. I am glad this show did not make a huge deal to milk in more TRPs, and I am so glad this show portrayed Min in such a positive way to make people laugh, cry and chuckle with this wonderful family. Thank You Yoonah for being such an inspiration.

My brother is also autisic and he also suffered lost situation he got lost once but hopefully we got him I can understand their feelings. It felt like world is just coming to an end my heart was pounding and I began sweating I have habit when I am nervous my hands legs starts trembling so hardly my hand and legs was trembling it was just a nightmare of death. I thought for a moment that I will just die without him since childhood he never separated from me but that time suddenly I didn't got to listen his voice I lost my patience my mom was crying it was such a relief to get his glimpse finally and his voice which was meaningless but at that time anything couldn't be more meaningful and beautiful than that.

Thank you Yoonah for letting us into your life as a mom with an autistic child. And not in the way, like the other mother said, is not in a documentary or something like that. yes! I have a cousin that has autism but I don't know what type, it's a bit different from Min. Her family and siblings treat her normally and the rest of my aunts, uncles, cousins, and my family as well! She doesn't talk much except with her own family and our cousins that are younger than her. I wish more people would be willing to take care of kids with special needs. Sometimes people will hear from doctors they will have a baby with a condition and they prefer not to give birth to it which is really sad. They think of the baby negatively instead of positively. They have beautiful hearts and are even more loving towards others than us normal humans who are more cold-hearted compared. Children with special needs see the world and people positively and don't judge others. I see these types of children as gifts from God just like any normal child. Despite the challenges of taking care of them, there is something to learn from them throughout the journey that makes us see the world differently and appreciate life more. I hope more people will see the lives of these children in this way and understand more about them!!

My little brother was 3 at the time and we lived in a 1- story apartment complex and i sent him to his room for a timeout and was taking care of the youngest who was 1 yrs old. He opened the window, pushed out the screen, jump out, and left. When i went to check on him, i just thought he was hiding so i look every and finally realize he must be out side. We found him in the park playing 😩 I was so relieved, i felt sick thinking what could have happened.

My neighbor’s kid has selective mutism. She’s a happy child, but gets super embarrassed around other adults. She and her parents went shopping and she would hide in the clothes and would shout “peekaboo! Mommy, or Daddy!” She was doing that many times and her mom turned around while looking for clothes. A few minutes later, the little girl stopped with her peekaboo. The mom ripped the curtain of clothes into two and her daughter wasn’t there. She shouted and shouted and she wouldn’t answer. She and her husband looked for hours. The mall was closed, and she finally was found by two elderly couple who bought her ice cream in the food court, because she wouldn’t stop crying. They reported it and the parents came running to her. Now, when the security asked the little girl, if they were her parents, she wouldn’t speak. This was before the smartphones. So most of the phone cameras were pretty weird. They had to go back home and show proof before the little girl was released to their custody. Pretty insane.

This comment was made with good intentions, but no child is a burden. Children with autism did not choose to be the way they are, alongside all the special needs children in the world. ALL children deserve to be cared for, loved and appreciated for what they are. That is what it means to be a parent. Of course we can appreciate parents who advocate for their children like Yoonah, but to say a special needs child is a burden is a horrible thing to say

Thank you so much for making this show about min because as a person with autism like myself there are so many challenges that come with autism that everyone else takes for granted like having a simple conversation and trying to figure out facial expressions and doing simple tasks that everyone does without thinking it takes people with special needs longer to process what’s happening and figure out how to even do the task. It’s been hard and puberty hits us more then anyone else because we struggle with getting our point across and telling someone how we feel it’s even harder if your non verbal (which is for anyone that’s wondering out there means they don’t speak) it’s hard we get judged for being bad behaved when in reality it’s our way with coping with the situation that is happening having a meltdown it’s hard but it’s as hard for the people around you cause they want to help you just don’t know how to accept it and they struggle with knowing how to console you in a way that is right for you. Autism is something that effects not only the child but also the other people in the same environment because it can sometimes strain a family’s relationship cause there is so much stress and anxiety built up around looking after the whole family and making sure everything is ok but sometimes if you have other siblings that are not on the spectrum ( which if anyone’s wondering means not having special needs) your parents can sometimes push them out without even knowing it because autism can put a lot and I mean a lot of strain on a family but it can also bring a family closer and make them stronger because of it having autism doesn’t define you I always think you define autism cause everyone on the spectrum is different no two people with autism are the same they might be similar in ways but never the same and that’s your gift from god I always think. Going to a special needs school is hard for a parent to say to people they meet it’s always the same phrase “oh what school does your child go to” i will never ever forget the look on my mums face when she got asked that question it was like the world came crashing down right in front of her the look in her eyes made me cry of course she said a special needs school and the awkward silence always comes after then the questions begin the worst part is the looks of their faces like we were aliens it’s so easy someone judging a special needs parent but they don’t know what we had to do to get to where we are we fight to get into special needs schools there are not spaces for everyone as an autistic teen who has experience both mainstream schools and special needs schools I know first hand how cruel people can be and being different and slower then my peers around me you build up walls as you get older to block anyone from being cruel again but in the process you are being outcasted and which is the worst feeling in the world someone saying to you we don’t like you cause your different and strange I wish people would learn about not just autism but special needs in general sorry I made this so so long but I hope one day someone will read this and go away with a little more knowledge even just a little and we all learn and share in the community together and make people like me and min more acceptable to the public cause it’s so hard people look and judge but they don’t know what your dealing with on a day to day basis autism doesn’t go away we have to learn and grow with it as we mature it never gets easier in fact it gets harder but it’s the way we work round the things we can’t do that’s what makes life worth it I hope I help someone out there struggling even if I just reached one person that’s worth it to me ❤️🧩🧩🧩❤️

Mine have Mild Autism (Speech delayed which cause him doesnt have social communication with others) . Me as a mom really put alot of effort on him, lots and lots of therapies! I'm also scare to lost him, so i custom made a stainless steel bracelet which his name and my number engraved on it and he wear it everyday. It's really just like what they said, when they are QUIET really makes you feel nervous. I just hope that everyone out there can accept who my child and understand him more. I hope all Autism child and their parents out there stay healthy and be strong. Our child is not a burden, they are unique and special. ~LOVE
