This game was earlier during the year so both bands have definitely improved since then. Mr. French (Carver director) been on the scene since I was in high school (20 plus years ago) and been doing his thing. Abe is nice too. Shout out to my home, the N.O. We been a Force!!!

Carver!!!! KB I got a story!!! in like 2005 GW carver was in town in Atlanta for a botb.. my director at Creekside crabbed with their director at the time and they came to rehearse at our school… 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 that director cut them lights down and them boys was cranking like a fool man OMFG!!!! I never heard that type of heat at high school and they was deep 🔥🔥🔥

Carver has definitely improved from this battle which was weeks ago and it’s crazy how the mellophone section is so balanced now and improved. I wonder how the band director developed that clear sound. This battle was good but there was songs that wasn’t ready for that battle. Great job to both bands and this was a tie in my opinion. There was plenty of rounds left and this wasn’t the full battle. Carver definitely sounds way more balanced and the arrangements are executed, props to Eric French. Abramson sounds great too and I like what the band director is doing there, there mellophones are so balanced and loud. You should definitely check out the High School BOTB.

In this video, Carver had tonation issues IMO. Trumpets were doing the most at the wrong times and the drum sections was over powering the band. I'm sure they have improved but in this video, Abe was the clear the winner.
