Both bands had their fair share of mess-ups tbh. Trumpet hangovers/wrong notes, skating, etc. I also understand that some arrangements might not be everyone's cup of tea but to say it's not good music is insane to me. At the end of the day, music is SUBJECTIVE so I respect your opinion.

They finally let us play Big Ballin but someone on the palm side of the game played the song to the band director and because it had curse words we couldn't play it anymore. Wr played it at one game the crowd hype as hell. The most we played was I'm So Glad...lol... They need more pepper in band administration and things could be better on songs.

It's sad seeing people not understand or appreciate the level of musicianship that MMB displayed. NO's arrangements are not hitting like they used to. That was proven when GAMB visited in '22. The best arrangement for NO came from the "student" director in my opinion. It was musically interesting. But MMB was musically interesting most of the battle. The days of most songs being 50% unison, 40% call/response, 10% tuba break are over. MMB and GAMB have taken summer bands to a new level. NO started to understand that last year but falling back into old habits now.
