@@jaydaawg.8191 Parents and Grandparents are from Butte, all my Aunts and Uncles are from there too. Didn’t live there but for a few weeks a Summer but consider that more my hometown than the place I was born in, even the place I grew up in and lived for the past almost 40 Years isn’t my “Hometown” as much as Butte. When I go there I still run into people my family has known and get treated like a local. Proud that locals in Butte, America, USA think of me as one of theirs. Some of the friendliest and best people around.

Every day at noon I say an Our Father and a Hail Mary, thanking God and the Blessed Mother for looking after my children, my grandchildren, my family, and my friends. I ask Their help to be a better person. This story is an inspiration. Bless my granddaughter, a student at the university, for bringing it to my attention today, Christmas Day, 2023. I am saddened to learn this sweet man passed away and yet I never knew him.. I so remember tough times in the eighties and now once again this past few years we’re going through it again. Thank You to all who were a part of this wonderful project.. I see The Lady Of The Rockies twice a year on trips to Oregon and Idaho and back yearly… Please never ever take her down those families deserve to see her remain there forever and so do the rest of us who skip a beat viewing her from below..

Our lady of the Rockies is a 90 foot statue on top of the continental divide in the likeness of Mary the mother of Jesus Christ 8’510 feet above sea level overlooking the richest hill on earth Butte Montana getting the help with a crane helicopter to get her on top of the breath taking view Beginning date 12/29/1979 Completion date 12/17/1985

I guess people have to see to believe. The Holy Bible said what it says. Why cannot people just believe what they read? And that she appeared at Fatima, Portugal and Lourdes, France and other places. Is that not enough? The earth is being destroyed only because we will not simply believe. I pray that people will believe on the name of Jesus and the whole Holy Family always. Amen.
