Yes, gratitude might be a toxic trait to you but for us Pilipinos who have lived here in the US for years, we value it. Doing what makes us happy is everybody’s right, and nobody’s business but the person herself/ or himself. But in my opinion , in case of Soberano, at least she should openly show gratitude to those who collaborated with her and also contributed to her success. Her first vlog should be a message of gratitude to herself first of all and to all who helped her be what she is now . Those who helped her gave herself and her family both there and here in the US good life. But instead her first vlog was full of regrets about her past career that made her the Soberano she wants to be now. If she did not like the name Liza she can change it to any name she wants. It is her right but don’t regret the name that gave you the utmost success while you were building your career. That is the name that recognized you as one of the most beautiful women in the world which was voted by your Pilipino fans. What defamation are you talking about? Did they call her names or make up stories about her that defame her as a person ?? They are just giving their opinions on how Soberano handled her change of career, her ungratefulness towards other who helped put money in her pocket , hone her skills and made her a confident woman. I use to be an avid fan of Soberano. I admired her for her hardwork for her tenacity, for being a good person, respectful and a beautiful person inside and out. Now I realized that was not the real Liza Soberano. She is a hypocrite in my opinion. If she wasted her life without any success all those years then she should have the right to complain. She only worked with about three directors and few producers? Isn’t Molina Garcia one of the best directors there and that Tonette something? Shouldn’t she be proud and grateful that her collaboration with those people made them all successful? The the most important thing is ABS-CBN gave her the chance to succeed and Ogie Diaz nurtured her and supported her . Those chances alone given to her to succeed would call for gratitude. I saw how rough in the edges she was when she first started , and how she bloomed into a beautiful person. Like what Mr. Abunda was asking therefore it was not the real Liza we loved ? Who is the real Liza , Hope? Who is Hope ? If you did not like the name Liza, do not use that name anymore even in your TikTok? Why do you continue using the name you did not choose? Now that you are free to use any name you want, stop using Liza and please stop explaining. Do what makes you happy in life. Hone your life’s passion and enjoy life. If you complained about having just one male main partner, are you telling us Enrique Gil was one of your regrets too? Then be decent enough to let the guy go.Don’t leave him hanging on air.
