I'm a musician kcguero. How did you get the sound quality to be so good?

I usually get access to the sound board, and record to a Tascam digital recorder. Then I sync in post with the video. Some shows sound better than others due to the fact I am dealing with the sound guys mix... But these turned out pretty good.

I see. It sure sounds good this time. I use a DAW myself but I'm small time but serious. I know when you record it direct it's gonna sound right if the mix is good but did it actually sound that good in persn. What I'm trying to figure out is so many top bands and pop acts today lip sync live on video and in some cases live if a band can sound this good if it did why don't they do it live as well I wonder?
