Adam! Never stop the adventures! Never stop writing! Your stories about Canada's history and your adventures are sublime topics! I have really enjoyed all your books. Thanks Uncle Kevin for this wisky fire side chat and also for all your books as well. You both tell great stories!

Oh! I absolutely love Peregrine Falcons! Watching them hunt is incredible! I love all raptors, but some are more fascinating and impressive to watch. I'll have to read his book! What a great adventure and story! His Lord of the Rings reference was excellent!

Exciting start and love how he decided on the name of his book amazing what they did for adam in Niagara and throughout his canoe route. What an amazing trip this must have been , what a great interview Kevin, sounds like an interesting book.

Just finished reading it last weekend. Like all of Adam’s other books, I buried myself in it and the extraordinary adventure. Keep on writing! And paddling.

Awesome. Going to see him in Englehart tomorrow night (Friday). Plan to buy a book or two even though I have all of them on Audible but I'd like to get a couple in paperback form as well.

What a hero! Thank you both for the interviews they are fascinating! Funny coincidence is that during that especially cold wet winter, I was learning how to live in an RV in the bush above Powell River BC. That was a gauntlet. The humidity was the coldest part. I too am on the quest for the best of all the imperfect footwear options out there and it's definitely an impossible one, but I like nrs boundary boots a lot for the canoe they're neoprene with a waterproof layer and they dry pretty not bad when you hang them upside down by their laces. They seem a bit delicate but they're light at least.

I've considered those boots for shoulder season paddling.

As impressive and important his adventures are, in interviews Adam lights up like a kid at Christmas when he gets to talk about history. Mackenzie and Hearne have shaped his adventures. Thanks Kevin for letting him talk history.

Why did he start hiking from Charlevoix instead of continuing by canoe along the St Lawrence up to Baie-Comeau and then via the rivers up north?
