RBW's statement a day before their performance in regards to Wheein not being in attendance: _"Hello, this is RBW._ _We are writing to inform you that MAMAMOO’s Wheein will not be able to participate in KCON 2019 LA. The members of MAMAMOO were in the airport and waiting to board after going through immigration when Wheein expressed that she was suffering from sudden dizziness and was not feeling well._ _She has been moved to the hospital where she has been resting and has undergone a detailed examination. Though we have not received an exact diagnosis of her condition, her dizziness has improved greatly with rest, and we are currently awaiting the results of her examination._ _Wheein wishes to board a plane and attend the schedule as planned in order to keep her promise with fans, but the members and our agency were concerned that the long flight may worsen her condition and that what she needs right now is rest. Yes. They have great voices, but remember they are a vocal based group, so in all of their songs they shine vocally, maybe there are better vocalists, but in groups more focused in dance or in the full performance

Ejote tostado. Nah, its personal preference, some fans prefer vocals over dances and vice versa. Every group has the same vocal training, but in some case it really depends on the idol themselves if they really can sing powerfully or not. Some idols have no choreo and singing slow ballad but yet their vocal ain’t that strong so yeaa 🙆🏻‍♂️

@@august9900 little fun fact: when mamamoo was formed, their company (really) told them that since they were not good looking and tall enough for the insane korean beauty standard, they would have had to focus more on their vocals. So, not only they weren't selected based on their looks but for their unique voices, but they also trained harder on the vocals compared to most of other groups (also because at the beginning they were supposed to be an acapella group).

Namjooniezzz yes, I’m referring that you can’t judge in a rude manner for example Twice in vocal ways, even if they have great vocalists, because is a dance focused group, and you can’t judge Mamamoo to rudely in a dance way, because they are a vocal group. You have also groups who are focused in both parts, like Loona or Dreamcatcher. so comparissons really don’t make sense.
