I don’t think it was the “cute” concept itself, I always thought they could fit into it. Rather, it just wasn’t completely natural to every members which made that specific style of song seem kinda awkward. Yes, they can pull it off, but having just debuted when Magnetic came out, I don’t think it was something they were ready for. They could’ve done something similar but just have toned it down a bit and I think it would’ve been great. But, they’ve improved, and I hope to see more from them. They’re all clearly skilled, they just needed songs that could show it off.

@nezzun0494 I think cute concepts the majority of the time are not natural for idols to begin with. I also think them choosing something out of their comfort zone and something that was different to the other 5th gen girl groups was the right choice. Doing something out of your comfort zone gets you experience and practice to be a more well-rounded group. That being said, I do hope to see something different from them, doesn't have to be drastic, but just something else.
