Jandi as chara was confusing and annoying,you never knew when she will get hurt.At times,i felt both junpyo and jihoo deserved better than jandi,yes junpyo chara wasnt best at starting,yes he had anger issues that was only his problem,but later his chara development happened he changed a lot,he was lonely and naive in love, he didnt know how relationship works and wanted to know,the only prob is they didnt showed much of junpyo-jandi

If I ever meet a guy like Ji Hoo I'm keeping him. A sweet, kind, respectful, mature, not violent, not manipulative, not controlling man is what I would go for. I know some people say Ji Hoo is boring and has no personality and that Jun Pyo is better and more exciting and yes he does spoil Jan Di and buys her luxurious gifts like clothes, jewelry, gourmet meals, etc and has risked his life for her a couple times but to me honestly I couldn't commit to a Jandi-Junpyo type relationship, it'd be too much for me. I wouldn't settle for a romantic relationship where there's drama all the time. I'm also very shy and socially awkward and sensitive so I feel I'd be better off with a guy like Ji Hoo. Maybe I sound boring but honestly I don't care. I admit that I didn't like Ji Hoo so much at the start because of his cold and closed off attitude but that's because he has been through so much. Losing his parents at such a young age to a terrible car accident, his grandfather practically abandoning him when he was only 5. For a 5 year old child that is very traumatic and I understand why Ji Hoo would become quieter and close himself. Still I couldn't help but dislike him at the start like the time when Jan Di was being attacked by those 3 creeps in the locker room and he starts asking her about pancakes I cringed so hard and when he shooed them away from her and she thanked him he was like "oh I wasn't helping you these things just bother me" and the time when he yelled at her for trying to convince Seohyun to stay in Seoul for him. It even broke my heart and he wasn't even yelling at me lol. But I started liking him more when he came to care about Jan Di so much even more so each time she and Jun Pyo had a fall out, he was there for her and never left her side. He even talked to Jun Pyo to convince him to fight for her even if it meant breaking his own heart. I disliked Jun Pyo because he bullied her and practically tried to force her to be with him for instance in Ep 4 when he just decided he and Jan Di go out a date, he didn't even apologize to her for his wrongdoings and ask her "Would you like to go out with me?" and he knew she liked Ji Hoo yet he declared to the whole school that they were dating and he gets all angry and aggressive when he believes Jan Di "cheated" on him with that dude from the night club thanks to her fake "best friend" Min-ji. I was like WTF she's not yours, she never agreed to be your girlfriend" and he practically made her feel guilty for liking Ji Hoo that she just felt so sorry. Even though she really did end up falling for Jun Pyo I feel it was forced. In ep 11 when Jan Di messed up big time doing photoshoots with that model guy, he almost beat up Jan Di when he confronted her about it I know what Jan Di did was the stupidest thing ever but the way he grabbed her by the lapels of her jacket made me feel sick to my stomach I thought he was going to beat her. He's abusive and toxic and violent, also the time he tried to force kiss her out of jealousy because of Ji Hoo in ep 3 made me so angry, like she made it clear she doesn't Iike you why try to force it? My point is I didn't like that she ended up with Jun Pyo and I feel like Ji Hoo was a better choice even though he was blinded by his love for Seohyun and fell for her too late. But then again is drama is like what 12 years old? and it's not real life and yes Jun pyo changed for the better but still I hated the ending.

Honeslty what is the point of making a reobot? We have seen this story over and over again with so many adaptations ( And now Thailand will air it's own version of the story too). I don't even understand how this story is so popular. It is just a mess full of cliches and a toxic relationship that should not be romantised. Out of all the author's works I am surprised this is the most popoular one. Her other work '' cat street'' is far better, it actually has a more original story with a strong female lead who goes under a great character development. It is a story about love, friendship and finding your place in the world. It conveys some good messages to the audience and the couple is a healthy one.

On episode 15 right now and I agree how nontoxic and wholesome Jan-di and Ji-hoo’s relationship is. But I never really saw them in a romantic way but more of a deep friendship in that they understand each other’s feelings and emotions. No I didn’t cry because of the romance but because he is an angel and he deserves so much more and he is deeply hurt and bad things happens to him and he didn’t receive the love he reserved only like 1/20 th and also his parents died and his grandfather abandoned him and the worst part? He was her pillar of strength.She would have been completely lost without him.His love for her was so intense that he knew how to let her go.There personalities were so similar.She just happened to be in love with the lead character and love is a powerful emotion.We can't help who we love.I really believe if he had not gone to Paris that she would have chosen him but that time that he wasn't there gave the lead actor the chance to claim what he wanted and he pulled out all the stops to get it.I have a hard time deciding who she should be with because they both are just the most gorgeous men.Ji Hoo smile did it for me but tall boy had the most beautiful eyes.

All the characters portrayed their parts very well and hence still one of my fav. Be it Jun Pyo or Ji Hoo both loved Jan Di. And the course of love is never smooth said Shakespeare. Hence Jandi and Jun Pyo had to go through so much. There wouldn't be an interesting plot without the struggle and the audience for Ji Hoo is left sympathising. ❤️
