As a Chiefs fan as a 6 yo girl in 1964, am loving the past 7 years of the KC Chiefs. From my aunt asking why are you crying, Its "only a game" to a sobbing preteen girl on xmas day in 1971 to years of disappointing seasons tickets in thru mid-late 1970s, countless playoff losses, including blowing big leads, I never dreamed the Chiefs would become a dynasty.

Absolute SHOUTOUT to Clay Martin! He has to be exhausted!! Pushed the Texans ST coach, missed a FG, missed an extra point, had a FG blocked, TOD on 4th & 10 in the 4th, was sacked 8 times. Get this man into the ROH before next Sunday’s game!!!

I think the team was just a little rusty to be honest, they hadn't played a game in a long time. I think next week will look a lot better offensively. They know they need to be better so I'm not worried

@DwainWilsonJr Since the Chiefs already beat the Texans, it appears to have been a good idea to rest the starters for as long as they did. That rest should pay dividends the longer the Chiefs play. In the second half, and particularly the 4th qtr. the Chiefs finally looked in sync on both sides of the ball. They most definitely shouldn't be so "rusty" moving forward. I just hope they can play like a well-oiled machine for a change. All year long, the Chiefs offense has actually looked "unfamiliar with success" and unconfident at times! In my opinion, the Chiefs have yet to play an entire "complete" game. People will say they played a complete game in Pittsburgh... but Pittsburgh was already a worn out team, and Pittsburgh actually made the Chiefs look better than they had looked for much of this season. I am also looking for DJ Humphreys at OLT and Tuney back at Guard. I also wouldn't mind seeing Kareem Hunt as the primary RB and an offensive scheme that will get the receivers open much more often. Hunt must average 5-7 yards a carry. I'd also like to see Perine in as often as possible because he's a baller! In addition, Baltimore actually beat themselves against Buffalo, so I want to see ball control from the Chiefs with no offensive turnovers. Andy's schemes this year have mostly been weak, but thankfully, we have Patrick and other terrific players making occasional great plays. However, there's truly been nothing consistent. The defensive priority needs to be completely shutting down the Bills' run game. Put a spy on Josh Allen... and Trent McDuffie on Shakir full time. Activate Wanya Morris and hope to not need him! This is Andy Reids' time to really shine, and I expect him to do just that. It's been a while, in my opinion. 🤫

Everyone keeps claiming that if the Ravens receiver had not landed with his toe out of bounds, they would have won the game. The Chiefs won by SEVEN, which means that a successful extra point kick would have been a TIE. They would need a 2 point conversion to walk off with a win.

The Broncos would've been great practice for the oline and Mahomes to overcome that kind of pressure in the future, looking back in hindsight.. and I said it. I said that they should've played. To keep their sharpness and edge going. Had they done that.. I think we would've walked straight THROUGH Houston. After that Steelers game, we had so much momentum built up.. so why kill it all for the sake of giving the players more time to heal up?!?!

The 2nd roughing call was weak-the first was fine. The Schultz “catch” was terrible too-maybe a makeup call? Used to listen to 810 Danny callin then Brisco (love you Josh but you were replacing a legend) and the guy now SUCKS!

What was up with the one when they accused Mahomes of "flopping" when he didn't go out of bounds on his own accord? It is the defense's job to tackle the ball carrier or push them out of the boundary. It isn't the ball carrier's job to make the defense's job easy. Getting pushed is not a flop, nor is it a penalty unless the player has already stepped out.
