Here’s a quick traction test for the new Nike KD 17 “Sunrise”. Right out of the box, the translucent outsole is nice and squeaky, giving me a good grip during my first session in these.

Traction looks elite , anytime the pattern looks Kobe 9ish I have high hopes and usually doesn’t disappoint.

From what im hearing these are just a lighter lower to ground version of the kd16 that gives you basically the same cushion without the "higher-up" "more likely to roll your ankle" sensation. With the added benifit of the kd7 style outsole. Seems like they're gonna start doing the nike shoe lines like they do in the jordan sig line and basically take influences from the second number and bring it to the shoe that came out exactly 10 years later.
