Since the renderings, I have preferred the KD bust. After seeing both in person, the KD one is 10 times better.

Nice review man, thanks for showing off the statue so thoroughly! Even in the video it just looks mindblowing, must be even more impressive in real life. The fact that putting this thing together is at least a two man job was the main reason I gave up on the idea of getting KD's SSJ4 busts. I'm a Vegeta fan but this Goku is just so beyond impressive that definitely would've gotten them both as a pair. With the SSJ4 Vegeta bust the thing that bothered the hell out of me was the Ki blast honestly. If you go with the Gallic Gun move, then give us the real color. Kind of weird that in the artwork that's included they do that but not in the actual statue. Really wish KD would've given us that purple option, just looks beautiful with the red fur. Hell, I would've even been willing to pay more just to get it. I think in pictures Vegeta's eyes seem to have a bit wrong shade and look more light green than the turquoise blue that they actually were in GT so I would change that too. Not sure if that's also the case how they look in real life. KD absolutely nailed Vegeta's hair though, it's just the perfect shade. When I was initially considering MADS' bust I was worried about their choice of color for Vegeta's hair since it looked so freaking red and they assured that it was just the pictures. Well, it turned out really light-brown/red anyway so that was really disappointing. In retrospect, that and the other issues you brought up in your review of the bust, I'm glad I didn't end up going with it. It's not terrible obviously but doesn't even come close to KD's quality. Can't wait to see your review of KD's Vegeta when that's out. Maybe I'll pick that up in the future when I have more space and man-power to put it together.

Hey i totally agree! I wish we got the final shine pose to be honest, thats my favorite. Plus sadly Vegeta didnt do Galick gun in GT so its not 100% accurate. BUT i dont think we will get a better ssj4 Vegeta ever. After owning MADs I can say whatever KD is doing he is leaving all competition in the dust, at least with GT busts. And dude! I asked if I could buy multiple colors haha no response on it 😂 I also dont like how poorly MADs packaged everything. I had all his statues on preorder and i canceled his goku and gogeta bust because of how let down i was with the 1/4th Goku vs Baby diorama and the Vegeta bust. I also spoke with KD and hes still working on his ssj4 Gogeta which is going to be the craziest bust ever i assume from everything he learned from the Goku and Vegeta. But i do wish i could have the option to throw an extra 100 bucks at KD for the rest of the colors. Id love red, purple, and green. I didnt do red because i felt the color got lost in the whole statue since vegetas fur is a similar red. Purple woulda been a great option too though!

@20puskinas1992 personally love a simple black base but i think its just now the next evolution of resin busts! Ive owned all KDs busts except the fusion pair and this one blows all of his prior ones out of the water

@@PrayerZero i think their ssj4 busts + Gohan bust are much better than the rest of their lineup. These guys keep improving, just wish they camouflage bases to match the mood of the scene presented. Plain base distracts the focus. Ryu studio statues look much more immersive in my opinion for just that.

The face doesn't look good to me. The head is small and looks a bit weird. The fur looks really, really good. I don't think it's the best statue. Personally, Zenkai Studio makes better ones. Still a good figure.

@blacklist9307 i will say in person the face is much much better in person. In photos the frown creases feel super amplified. And i promise the heads massive but i do love zenkai!
