For anyone having issues finding document setup with the newer Keynote release: You need to tap the name of the presentation (top left. downward pointing arrow beside it) and go to Presentation Options. Setup is there alongside other things.

So, I followed alongside and created my first digital planner with you. You are a great teacher. I was able to follow along, rewind when I needed to go back over it. I’m now stuck at the part of linking and master slide. I’m glad to hear you say it can be complicated and tricky to learn, but once you do it’s rewarding. I am now going to find your video for (hope you have one) for what now? Creating the linking and actually putting it together with the templates you want in the planner. Thank you for your help

Kirsten you are a fantastic teacher. I have had an apple pen and ipad pro for a few years and I have been looking at digital planners for quite some time but never could figure out how to create one. You made this soo easy. I struggled for a minute (actually about 30) when you reverted back to the presentation from the master, but I refused to give up. I ordered your digital planner rings because I needed my planner to look good. I can't post it right now because I have been ordered to go to bed (I think my husband is jealous). I will though. I am a teacher and hope I can actually create a teacher version. If not, I will be ordering one from you. You are a blessing. Thanks again.

I created an undated yearly planner with hyperlinks to month weekly views and daily pages. Every date linked directly to the daily pages. It ended up being over 500 slides with all my other planner pages and templates. The number of links was INSANE. It took me like 2 weeks of obsessive determination. I made it undated so I could use it year to year and use number stickers for the dates on monthly calendars. I don’t know if I have it in me to make another planner lol

To help myself, when I pasted a “page” I changed the colour, which allowed me to easily see where it was compared to the one underneath. When I was happy, changed the colour back to the original. Bingo. Thanks again.

Question - once you have made a digital planner and it’s in use, what happens to hyperlinks if you add in a extra page say to a daily spread you add in a page to add photos , what happens to all the hyperlinks as you have now added a page in the middle so to speak? I’ve been learning from your videos and it occurred to me that there is always a section of page templates in a planner and I know that if I add pages to the middle of a document it then moves all the subsequent pages g add a page after page 3 then the original page 4 becomes page 5 and the new page becomes page 4, so on a digital planner or notebook and you add in a additional page or pages in the middle do the hyperlinks all still work as created or are they then all broken? I’m just curious as I’m trying to get this all straight in my head as I make jewellery and I’m trying to adapt this for what I need but what I’m thinking would require additional pages added in to the finished exported file (already hyperlinked) so I wondering if this will even work? Help! Thanks 😊

I have all my pages, tabs, binder but only have one slide. Was I suppose to add a new slide for each component or are these slide on your screen just components you are choosing from for the video? Hello! I know this video is a year old, but I have a couple of questions! So you use the pencil to move things around. Whenever I try to do that, it writes instead! Did you have to change something in settings to be able to move things with the pencil? Secondly, when you arrange the tabs, the slider moves way more than mine does. Mine can only be moved in increments, rather than a smooth motion. Is that a setting that needs to be changed as well? I used your first video to make my first planner ever, and I’m so thankful for your videos!
@KDigitalStudio3 жыл бұрын
I share in the video about going into the settings for the Apple Pencil :) click “select and scroll” to be able to move things around. Mind can also only move in increments. It probably just seems smooth in the video since I know what increment it needs to be at to be behind/in front of what I want - comes with creating a ton of digital planners. Happy to help!
@TheKristinaSims3 жыл бұрын

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I have a question. I made master slides for my planner blank pages and one for my planner cover. I am at the part in your video of how to create flipping tabs. I am hoping to revert back to not using a master slide, but I went to delete my master slide (I didn't) but I don't want to lose everything. In that part of the video you skipped over it rather quickly. How do I go from using a master slide to not using a master slide so I can flip my tabs? Thank you!
@KDigitalStudio4 жыл бұрын
On your master slice, click off to get the "select all" option to pop-up like I reference a few times in the video. Copy it. Move out of the editing master slides function and back to the regular slides. Click the plus button at the bottom to add a blank white page like how I show originally. Paste your planner on that page. And then select that slide and duplicate or copy and paste when you need it again. Then go through the process of flipping tabs! I hope this makes sense :)
