I only changed the capacitor because my fan slowed down and then stopped working. You can use a tester to check if the capacitor is the issue or if the fan has another problem first ☺️

the humming caused by faulty capacitor, replace the faulty one is enough. But you need to check which capacitors is faulty with multimeter lah... kzbin.info/www/bejne/raOtiZeAl71osMk

humming sound is cause by the loose covers，the covers vibrates and make the humming sound while the fan is running
