God doesn’t have to do anything but he chooses to because it’s in the scripture. You’ll have to be foolish to think people didn’t follow Jesus for their own benefit too. Yes they loved Christ and would die but they would be gaining so much more. Gods system is give and receive. No other way to cut it. Also, after he went back to Elisha, he asked if he could take dirt with him. He asked Elisha if when he went to the temple of Rimmon with the king (one of his duties), would YHWH know he would sacrifice to no other ? The prophet said shalom, "Go in peace." Naaman, the gentile BELIEVED and had faith that YHWH is the one true GOD. Not all the nonsense of dipping in the water. Honestly I think kids church in many places has done more harm than good. It divides the body between adult church and kids church. It also tends to become very works driven. Yes, we should teach our kids what a Christlike life looks like, but children's church uses biblical stories and characters as moral examples rather than as people who are saved and redeemed by God.
@simeonyves594011 ай бұрын

Study your Bible and it doesn’t matter how many false teachers there are. You will know that you are supposed to be learning from the Holy Spirit. God said we are to learn from no man. Study on your own for Bible study and go listen and the Pastor on Sunday. Todd is for people who don’t know the Bible.
@kennethstandridge120511 ай бұрын
Yes just don't get confused by "learn from no man." That wasn't suggesting we don't learn from others. That is how many abuse that passage and take it out of context. That was in reference to one's who were teaching the only way to know the word was for them to tell you the word. This is not a claim at not needing to have things explained. You even mentioned in your own comment when you said "Listen to pastor on Sunday." So clearly you see that verse does not mean just you and the Holy Spirit will figure this thing out. That teaching is taught by people who don't want to listen to sound teaching. All we see through Scripture is teaching after teaching from Paul, John, Peter, James, ect. Their letters were about their teaching the body of believers and telling them to "hold fast to the teaching they have received." So clearly, that verse is not telling us to ignore sound teaching. That passage is more about the Holy Spirit protecting us from error and that they had no need to learn anything "opposed" to what they had already been taught. It doesn't mean we sit at the house "us and the Holy Spirit" and the Holy Spirit gives us the yeah or no when we read a verse. That's what some Charasmatics say. We are commanded to rightly handle Scripture and it calls it work. Meaning we must put in effort to rightly divide the word. Many sit at home and believe whatever they "feel" a verse is saying that the Holy Spirit has somehow "confirmed" it in their "feelings." Awful false teachings have come from this thinking. Also there are many who believe this foolishness Michael Todd is teaching and think that it is sound Biblical teaching. So just reading your Bible isn't neccesarily enough if you are not putting in the work to read it rightly. His whole church believes they're reading the word right and they're not im always leary when I see someone say "just read your bible" like that means all is well. Unfortunately many if these people read their Bibles an have twisted the Scriptures all up.

It will really help the Body of Christ as a whole if we prayed for these preachers instead of tear them down. I don't really listen to Mike Todd but when I do, I see how God can use anyone growing in perfection (not perfect, none of us are yet) to reach His people. It's funny but there are several people who God was able to reach through his style of teaching. In the first clip you talked about, yes God needs something of us. The "matter" needed often, is our obedience to Him, and watching that clip alone justifies that. God bless this channel, and although we are not to condone sin in anyway or form, these men (all preachers even the controversial) need our prayers. Like I always say, would we do better if we were in their position? He's not blaspheming the Holy Spirit, and if he needs more wisdom to preach we ought to pray for him on that, not point at him as though we would do a better job. 10:08 I am not the greatest fan of Mike Todd. However, in his defense, as a well studied and degreed theologian, I can tell you that while his preaching is not always scripturally correct, and to your point “God doesn’t NEED anything from us.”, I must say that a relationship requires two entities or people. God is asking for relationship from us through Jesus Christ. Christ, while being God the Son, is the example.Throughout the Bible, we see God requiring something of the individual in order to produce a miraculous result. Jesus fed the 5000 from a little boy’s lunch, Naman needed to dip 7 times before being healed, David needed courageous faith in the Lord before slaying Goliath, Jesus needed the woman’s faith to heal her from the issue of blood, and we even see Jesus Himself needing to exhibit great humility before raising Lazarus from the dead. I get what you’re referring to regarding a Christocentric perspective, but I believe you may be in error here. I agree on the prosperity preacher strategies and mishandling of the Gospel message, but your suggestion that God doesn’t need anything from us is wrong. He does want our obedience, sacrifice, faith, and love. We must never forget these basic principles in our relationship with Him.

I get what you’re saying. We forget that God is the owner and creator and our lives are FOR God, not the other way around. I will say God has been convicting me about being obedient, and taking away my vices. This to me would be detrimental in my relationship with the Lord if I did not listen to Him and He has been telling me I will no longer work in the industry I have been working in, so I quit my jobs and applied to places I should. I like what you said and as charismatic are some preachers can be, they stray away from the Bible and fail to keep God’s teachings just the way it is. The Lord will deal with those who are not in line with His word and leading us astray.

I loved that you actually broke down the scripture the “real” meaning lol I never ever never would have learned that from what he taught ever! It actually takes away the beauty of the story in the word! A beautiful story of Gods love and His faithful ness it seemed to me that Naaman offered this money in exchange for healing? Or is that wrong? And if that’s the case further proves lol why Mikes preaching is just wrong wrong wrong lol Anywho I greatly enjoy knowing the meaning of the real passage!! Thank u

This is very evident that we are in the last days. God’s people have to be diligent in their Bible and know the word. Prayer has to be the first thing on lips in the morning and the last as we lay down. To God be the glory.

James 3- says not everyone should preach or we will be judged more strict, that our tongues is untamable and we all stumble but if we can teach the word (handle it) we should study to show ourselves approved. 1 Timothy 2:15. So as every man who preaches practices everyday to study and show themselves approved and not walking in shame. This just shows, because so many people think they can do this better, but don’t recognize that it’s hard to preach the word to all these people. That’s why a pastor oversees his flock and each title has a different meaning and assignment. But we all belong to one body Christ!

Hey ! I enjoy watching your videos and your logic makes sense. I’m curious , who do you like to listen to ? I’m new to the channel but wondering if you could put out a video with a pastor teaching the message in a way you agree. Maybe even if you could take what is said incorrectly and match it with a sermon showing the correct way to present the info. I know this creates more work for you but I would highly appreciate it! I’m ok with being told and shown who I can’t trust but show me who I CAN trust ! lol all love thanks for your consistency!

God NEVER EVER promised abundance of riches, #Blessed Lives, no persecution, God promised Salvation of our Souls and No hell. Now, when your Christ focused you make better choices in your life, and on good paths without so much self inflicted chaos so better outcomes happen. But, Christ must be the focus daily. Just CHRIST. Reading the word daily to hear Christ speaking since He is the ENTIRE word, and staying on the straight but narrow road, is the only thing that matters.

@@theLionandtheLamb1....Do you think that Mike Todd believes that God is using and Blessing him? Or do you think he knows he is deceiving? 2 Timothy 3:13 "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." They live lavishly and want for nothing. But the verse right before it says "All that live Godly in Jesus Christ will suffer." Imagine their end...🔥

My brother, you did a great breakdown of the scripture & the sermon. You are spot on with your review. Glory be to God who always causes us to triumph through Christ. I see much disgrace toward prosperity preachers/preaching. I would like to call us to open our minds to more. We have many biblical teaching on proserity. We have many biblical men/women who were prosperous & of God. The proserity isn't the issue. Maybe some teachings or part of the teachings are not in line with God's will, however, God is one of good. He is one of love. He is one of so much greatness we can't contain him in words. Why do we hinder ourselves to think the children of the king should not be prosperous of enjoy the spoils of life through Him? I have only said a little bit here but I do pray this can help overturn the minds that root in lack & struggle. God bless all who read this.
