She always has excellent pitch during her live performances, which isn't common among a majority of (professional) singers. I just don't understand why people think she lacks talent. She sings her ass off and can do a lot of things with her voice that most people can't do.

If you've been to a Kesha show you know the girl has got an amazing range. She's perfect. Keeps on pitch even with aerial work. Only P!nk can do that too that I know of besides Kesha

Roland Baldwin She can sing, yes. I am Kesha's biggest fan. I know she can sing live. However, being able to sing and having an amazing range are two separate things. Her range is not very impressive, lol. I love her to death.. She truly is my favorite. But her range (live) is mediocre at best. That doesn't mean she has a bad voice nor that she can't sing. Her voice is great and she definitely is a good vocalist.

@@samiaahmad8705 But what’s a bummer is that she tries to avoid the higher notes so she doesn’t lose her voice. Praying is in B-flat and she hits a high F near the end, but live they play a step down, and her highest note I think is a C sharp. I understand her ways, but isn’t it worth a little risk every now and then to try to hit the higher notes?

​@@prestonspolicy I know and I knew back then. I don't really remember but I think this comment was in response to another comment but because youtube's comment system changed you can't see it? I think what I was trying to say here was that on her first album she wanted Animal (the title track) as a single but her record label and producer wouldn't let her and then on the second album (Warrior) she had expressed she wanted Love Into the light as the third single of that album but the record label wouldn't let her. Basically her record label at the time just wanted this ''party girl'' persona for her, so they didn't let her release songs like Animal and Love Into The Light.

Just so you know every singer in the entire world uses autotune on their albums. It's a production standard. It just depends on what retune speed that procuer uses whether or not you notice it.

I’d be interested to see what key she wrote this in. Because thwhile the album version is recorded in D major, she sings this a semitone lower in the key of D-flat. That has five flats, where D just has two sharps. If it was me, I’d rather have two sharps, especially as a pianist. That’s less black keys to play lol

This is still auto-tuned (yes you can easily do it in real-time), you can hear how digital her vocals are at time. Again, I don't have a problem with the final product, in the end if a girl whitened her teeth, doesn't mean they aren't white.

Lol. And you're a music producer and can tell when autotune is being used? My boyfriend majors in music and editing voices and mixing beats are his favorite. There is reverb and delay that is being used. Reverb is not a voice distortion but what most artists use for their live shows. All it does is create an echo for a more professional appeal and for SLIGHT voice enhancement. The only enhancing it does is more of a background to cover some flaws that may be made, not fix them. Do some research.
