This song is originally written in English by those three western people and chose kesha to sing the song because they find kesha's voice fit in. On the other side.. I've listened to both versions, and personally I enjoy the Korean version more. The lyrics are more poetic and also the Korean version uses way less autotune. Kesha does not own this song, and never has. She did sing it first though. Girls Generation/소녀시대's record label/company bought the rights to this song from the song writers and arranged for them to officially record and release it.

Girls' Generation/SNSD's company than hired a man to translate and re-write the lyrics into korean. Kesha only sang this as a demo which was never meant to be released. Kesha recorded the song but then decided, as it didn't fit the concept/style she was aiming for, to not use it but somehow it managed to get leaked.

Love Kesha's version (there's nothing different but the language and most likely the lyrics too), it would've been a hit if she had released it! I'm sure!! For the record though, Kesha can sing listen to a couple of the ballads on her most recent album (Warrior?) they're absolutely beautiful and really show off her unique voice:)

This was originally Kesha's song that was never released here in the US, but then someone leaked it and then Kesha made the decision that she did not want the song anymore.
