When I first heard this song last year, I was in a really bad rut. I just graduated from uni, started my own business and people that I knew were bashing me left and right for being "stupid" to do this because it does not fit into their mould of "Normal". But listening to this song, at that point in my life, really pushed me to excel and push myself to succeed, to show all the haters, you can't push me down, YOU CAN'T KNOCK ME DOWN! When I first heard this song, it was the Kesha cover. I had listened to it since I was in a really bad place and then through this song, I found Praying. I've been in love with this ever since. It's been part of my healing. I love Kesha's vocals, Keala's beautiful vocals too, and Missy, oh my god, what a powerful woman, the strongest bitch right there.
