Organic honey 💛 my family’s been bee keeping for generations, and I’ll say you simply cannot beat honey in it’s purest form Only-strained honey has many health benefits, including antioxidants, being antibacterial, anti inflammatory, and contain probiotics that strengthen your immune system among many other things 😊 I highly recommend buying from small bee farms as it’s both beneficial for you, and the environment 🌼🐝 taste the difference

Hey so I want to bee keep when I'm older but I'm allergic to bees if they sting me I get hives and red and puffy and could die if I get stung a lot should I just not bee keep?

@@Olivia_love218 It’s so nice to see people who are interested in keeping! However, I will say I don’t think you’ll ever meet a bee keeper who has never been stung before There will always be risk when working with them closely even with precautions, so personally I wouldn’t advise anyone who is highly allergic to handle them directly, but there’s still ways to be involved, like helping other keepers assemble hives and learning the ropes in a safe way for the enjoyment :) hope this helps!

if you see this, organic honey is left in its original state, normally the bees are just left to do what bees do until the end when its harvested. Non-organic is filled with chemicals, preservatives and normally is made on bee farms in bee boxes where everything is closely regulated :)

Organic honey comes from bees that pollinate organically grown plants, while regular honey may come from plants treated with pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. Organic honey is also usually minimally processed, while regular honey may be pasteurized.

interestingly enough bees from different hives produce different tasting honey even if the hives are all located in the same place!! the uniformity of honey flavor is just because most producers combine the honey from each hive, but i got to try honey from a local beekeeper who keeps each hive’s honey separate so you can see the difference !! some produced dark, rich honey while other hives produced lighter, more floral honey!! i didn’t realize they did that but i thought it was super neat and seems to have more to do with the biology of each hive rather than the source. anyway the beekeeper labeled all the honey jars with the name of the queen of the hive which i adored and thought was super cute (i bought a jar of odessa’s- dark, rich, and warm. i find it to be lovely for cooking and oatmeal)
