Kearney & Trecker mill DRO project cutting a scale

I pulled the glass out of the scale by removing the green pieces. It slides right out. Then used a dremel with a cutting wheel to cut the glass (I wrapped it in masking tape at the cut point). Super easy job. If anyone watching this is worried about trying, don't. It is VERY EASY to do. The hardest part is cutting the aluminum. Wet the green pieces with water and they'll slide right back in using a small flathead screwdriver. I used a 90 degree pick to pull them out.
