One of the greatest living artists. Criminally underrated and profoundly under-appreciated. Yet, I feel he wouldn't have it any other way. His songs aren't for radio plays, their internal journeys into himself as he deals with his demons. And by god, they are absolutely perfect.
@CarlaSophieMar3 жыл бұрын
Couldn't have said it better! It's one of the best explanations I ever heard, about why for some artists and musicians become mainstream, and others remain a precious gift only some lucky people get to discover.

Makes me sick that people like this are as underrated as they are when artists like Travis Scott are so highly regarded. This guy has more talent in his little finger than most big names today.

Thank you, Keaton. You've been our light in the darkness. The voice we can come back to like a safe, warm place amidst the chaos that this year has dragged us all through. You fearless, fervent flame, you've burned brighter than all of the darkness, and you've been the window that lets in the calm light of morning, gently stirring us from our world-weary slumbers and letting us know that it isn't all that bad. It isn't all that bad. Thank you, Keaton.

I remember the song To your health because I was at the end of my third year of degree. I came back from Germany in January and in February I met the girl who made me realize I like women. Nothing happened between us but a beautiful friendship. Anyway, Keaton was always there, just saying the words I needed to hear. I need this kind of honesty in my life: Keaton and that first female love.

This whole thing is filled with emotion... al the little voice cracks and inflections. That look he has at the end is devastating... If you weren't in the know you might first assume the song is about breaking up with a lover, but it's actually about Keaton's father losing his battle with cancer. "I'm losing you"

Wow - I listen to a lot of artists, but Keaton always ends up being my goto artist. I listen to ALL his music over and over and over. I listen when I'm sad, I listen when I'm happy, I listen when I'm contemplating life. His music is just so powerfully emotive (yes I know what emotive means, and yet still adding 'powerfully' to it). His instrumental pieces fill me with all sorts of emotions alone - add words or videos - or just watching him sit at his piano - and man...powerfully emotive!!! Thank you Keaton for gifting us with such amazing art!!!

My sibling’s (as I like to call him) ‘cool friend’ introduced me to the art and brilliance that is Keaton Henson’s music through Romantic Works. I don’t think even I knew how much it would mean to me, how much the poetry and music I’d discover on my own, written and created by Keaton, would mean to me. I’m a fan of twenty one pilots, as you can probably tell, because they write and create things that are needed and honest and real and important. I’m a fan of Keaton Henson for the same, and I can only hope that- one day- I get to see him live.

7:3 Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. 7:4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth. 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
